Itinerary
Our Machu Picchu tour starts early in the morning with transfer from your hotel to Ollantaytambo train station. There you will board a tourist train to the town of Aguas Calientes, enjoying the landscapes of the Sacred Valley and the high jungle. Upon arrival, our guide will be waiting to accompany you to the bus station and ascend together towards the main entrance of Machu Picchu. You will start a guided tour of approximately two hours of the most important sectors of the sanctuary, including viewpoints, temples, squares and agricultural terraces. At the end of the tour, you will return by bus to Aguas Calientes to enjoy a lunch included. In the afternoon, you will board the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our transport will wait to take you back to Cusco and drop you off at your hotel. Train schedules may vary; we always select those that optimize your experience.

Exceptionally well-organized. The day before our tour we received an envelope with our entrance passes and train tickets. The company sent a driver to our hotel, the driver escorted us all the way to the train gate, a second guide met us to direct us to our bus, and our third guide met us near the entrance to give us a guided tour. They all communicated their locations via WhatsApp so there was never any confusion. Our guide Javier was very engaging and gave us lots of interesting information about everything we saw, and was happy to take all the photos we wanted. Lunch was also included, which was a fun surprise.

I was very skeptical when I received the offer because it was 20–30% lower than the competitors, but I found good reviews and decided to go with them. Absolutely everything went perfectly, even better than expected. I led a group of 28 people to Peru, and it was not easy managing such a large group, especially since it was my first time working with this agency. However, I was truly impressed. Two people canceled the trip a month before departure, and the Machu Picchu tickets could not be changed, so we had to buy new ones on the spot. The agency accompanied us from Cusco to Ollantaytambo, and then their staff welcomed us in Aguas Calientes and guided us through the process of buying tickets for the two people who joined later. Incredible service. Very professional and responsible. The guides were good, the buses/vans were good, and the price was very fair. Overall, it was a very positive experience. Highly recommended agency, and I will definitely work with them again for future tours.

Indicate ☰% to Andean Explor. Since my arrival in Peru, I was advised by Yolanda (with whom I closed the package). I had all support with transportation to the tours and airports, the tours with admission and food, besides everything with a lot of safety. They took care of all logistics for me and was too worth the experience. The communication is clear and objective, and when some normal travel unexpected occurs, we have direct support with them.
