Itinerary
Your first stop is the traditional village of Chinchero, known for its agricultural terraces and rich textile heritage. Visit a cultural center where a local family demonstrates their ancestral weaving techniques using natural dyes. This offers a unique, authentic, and relaxed way to learn about Andean textile art and daily life.
Continue to Moray, a fascinating system of circular terraces believed to have been used by the Incas as an agricultural research center. Learn how these microclimates allowed the Incas to experiment with crops and optimize food production.
A short drive will take you to the stunning Maras Salt Mines, a spectacular collection of over 3,000 salt pools still harvested by local families today. The bright white pools set against the brown mountainsides create one of the most iconic landscapes in the Sacred Valley.
Stop in the town of Urubamba to enjoy a traditional buffet lunch, featuring a variety of dishes prepared with fresh Andean ingredients.
In the afternoon, visit the impressive Ollantaytambo Archaeological Site, known for its massive terraces and its main Sun Temple, made of six perfectly carved monoliths. You’ll also see how the town preserves its original Inca urban layout, with narrow stone streets and flowing water channels.
Finish your journey at the Pisac Archaeological Park, an important administrative and ceremonial center during the Inca Empire. Explore its extensive terraces, temples, and breathtaking mountaintop views truly one of the highlights of the entire Sacred Valley. Return to Cusco around 7:00 p.m., where you will be dropped off near the main square.

The guide gives very interesting historical facts all along the visit. He speaks very good English and Spanish, and repeats everything in both languages. He's also very kind overall! I highly recommend the tour.

The experience was amazing, the guide has his rules but they are normal for a good development of the tour. We have found many things, and with detailed information about what we have seen. The part with the women of the textile was also beautiful. But you should know that the tour is long, and a little intense and lasts all day.
