French Quarter Shrimp Boil & Live Music

Description
Experience the real French Quarter at Shrimp Boil Cabaret Step away from the tourist crowds and join us for a private dinner party celebrating the flavors and sounds of the Quarter. The Shrimp is sourced from local shrimping families at their boat docks a few hours before your shrimp boil to choose the largest, freshest, wild-caught local shrimp available. Mister Gregory, "The Shrimp Boil King of New Orleans" grew up in the Gulf South shrimping and boiling and advocating for wild-caught Gulf Shrimp and the "eat it to save it" culinary approach. Please join us for live local music and a lovely dinner party, make some new friends and eat the very best shrimp in the world.

I had a good time. The chef was humorous and knowledgeable. The music was very pleasant. I sat with a couple that were repeat customers. It was his birthday and their anniversary. We sang 3 versions of Happy Birthday. The normal one, the New Orleans one, and the Gospel one. It was worth the money.
This was such a great experience. My boyfriend and I loved it. It was an intimate experience with great food and great music. Would absolutely recommend!
In a small intimate setting, we were delighted to have Mister Gregory prepare, serve and describe several entrees which were delicious! We also had music performed by a solo guitarist. The room was eccentric and quirky which added to the ambiance. We highly recommend this! Come hungry.
for us the food was a bit disappointing. the advertisement showed an outdoor bbq and this was held in a very small hole in the wall. it was byob and the music was a single guitarist. he was good but not what we expected. it was pricey for what we got.
Mister Gregory made this experience so much fun! The food was delicious! Highly recommend this experience!
Very unique experience in NOLA. Gregory was very kind and entertaining. We enjoyed his local stories. The entertainment was fun! Not all of the food was to my liking but my husband loved it! Lots of shrimp and the dessert was very good. Overall a fun and interesting experience!
Absolutely fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed it! Great music, great food, great hosts! Would definitely recommend & would love to do this again!
Our group of 12 cousins from California had a wonderful experience at this shrimp boil. We enjoyed the delicious meal, the talented musicians, the excellent staff, and the culinary knowledge and hospitality of our host. After reviewing all the fun things we did on our trip to New Orleans, everybody said this was a great highlight of our trip. We’ll definitely be back.
If you want to experience true southern hospitality, great food and entertainment, this experience is the best. Can’t recommend enough.
We attended the Shrimp boil and it was amazing. Sat next to a couple who live 10 minutes from us in Michigan—great conversation, small world moment. Food was top-tier and homemade from scratch. Each course was explained by Chef Gregory with history behind it, which made the experience even better. Music was incredible—live duo that’s well known in New Orleans and really set the vibe. Favorite dish: maque choux with a slice of alligator sausage—chef’s kiss. Shoutout to Larry, he did his thing. If I ever see this tour again, book it—unforgettable experience.
