Good activity for our first evening. We were able to visit many spots and learn a lot history of the city … we enjoyed ourselves time and Val did a nice job and very knowledgeable
Thank you for the very nice review. An extra thank you from Val.
our tour guide was Val & she certainly knew her stuff. She answered all our questions about the ghosts & her knowledge of the local history was amazing.
What a nice review of the tour and Val. We will certainly share it with her.
The tour guide was great. The QR codes given for the interactive aspect of the tour don't work with Android and don't work well with IOS. Even without the "interactive" aspect, the tour was still a great time. The guide really gave "flavor" to the spooky history of NOLA.
Delighted with your review. The creator of the Interactive aspect has been working on an application that functions better with Android. We are delighted that the guide added so much to the atmosphere.
Very educational and interesting ghost tour of the French Quarter. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and an excellent storyteller. The augmented reality feature was interesting but had some hiccups. I do appreciate having it to add to the experience. It was definitely worth the price!
We want to be worth every penny and glad you agree. Our guides enjoy sharing our history, tales and stories passed down in our culture.
Not scary. Boring. They bill this as interactive but it’s 2010 technology interactive. If you download their app then there is a third grade drawn figure that ends up in your photo. Left half way through. Btw we were there on Halloween so everywhere was decorated and lots of costumes and still lame.
We regret that is was not scary as you may have anticipated. We offer eerie tales and dark secrets of a 300-year-old European neighborhood that has been ravaged by fires, epidemics, hurricanes, floods, wars, slavery and conflict. Our guides tell the real history of colorful characters who lived, died and have chosen to remain in the French Quarter. We do not bill it as a tour to frighten you.
Great experience and tour guide! I Highly recommend tourists take this tour at the beginning of their trip to get acquainted with the French Quarter and the city in general (our tour guide had coupons and tons of information also)
Good tip to take this tour early in your visit. It will add so much to your other adventures.
We obviously did not expect seeing ghosts. Honestly I did not know what to expect. However, it turned into amazing history lessons filled with stories and legends. I see a lot of bad reviews and how people dropped out inthe middle or how swamp is better. First of all it cannot be compared to swamp as it's two completely different experiences. This tour is one of those where a lot depends on tour guide. Ours (believe her name was Val) was absolutely amazing. Despite scorching heat we truly enjoyed the legends and story telling while learning a lot of history of French quarter. I enjoyed it more than cemetery course which was just too mystic and overexagurated for my taste. My wife and our teenaged kids loved it.
Thank you for disregarding a few reviews from those who preferred swamps over history and lore of the city. Everyone has preferences and for those that were part of a 'group", the choice may have been made for them rather than their preference.
This was my granddaughter's pick. She likes scary stories, and this walking tour was full of some great stories! I wish they sold a book to take home to retell all these stories because they would be great to tell around a campfire. Our tour guide, Kim, was funny, knowledgeable, and patient. She answered all of my granddaughter's questions.
Ghost tales are in abundance in our city. We are delighted that your granddaughter enjoyed her tour with us.
Robi was amazing. I learned about more then the ghost and he answered all of my daughters questions. She usually has a lot.
Questions are always welcome and Robi enjoys sharing the history and "tales" of our city. Consider another tour with him at Gray Line.
I would give this a 3 out of 5. We walked by so pretty interesting history locations but the history and lure of the city was missing at times. We met some pretty cool people on the tour that made the experience better. Love the city, which made for the average experience.
We would be glad to hear more to be sure that guest input is shared with the guides to make the tours and even better experience.
