Trust the Jonathan Weiss name and Doug the tour guide was 10/10!

I’ve done a few tours with Jonathan in the past and I always recommend everyone I know who is traveling to NOLA to tour with his company. This time, we had Doug, who was an incredible tour guide! 10/10. I learned stories I’ve never heard on his tour (and I’ve been on a *lot* of tours in NOLA) and he was engaging and genuine in his passion for the subjects. This is the company to book with!

The history was very...

The history was very interesting and Doug was very good at expressing the story to make you feel like it was happening now. If you are wanting something to scare you, then go to the places he talks about to get the frightening experience!

Operator response

Fantastic! Thank you!

Johnathan w. Tour good, this other dude sucks..

I have to say tour guide johnathan himself was not available . But I came from Tennessee. I was told by my friend who is from here, that this is the best tour. We'll needless to say I got some guy with glasses who absolutely bored me . He seemed miserable to be there absolutely hated the noise of passerbys, his vampire stories went off to just serial killers and nonsense. Seriously i wanted to leave after 30min And literally put me to sleep I couldn't wait to leave. I do not like leaving bad reviews and my friend assured me that if John was there it be better. But I'm gonna say, support j. weiss buisness just get the right tour guide. Not this dude.

Wonderful ghost tour of New Orleans

This tour was exceptional. I was there in February 2022 (that wasn’t an option when I filled out this form) and this tour far exceeded expectations. Jonathan is an excellent storyteller and really brings the information to life the history he leaves into the storytelling and surroundings really makes for an exceptional experience. Jonathan also made sure everyone felt included and let the group ask questions. He also did a great job of accommodating everyone’s needs, andI was surprised there wasn’t 1005 star reviews on here because he certainly deserves it. This is a not to miss tour if you’re looking for a good ghost tour in New Orleans I hope Jonathan continues to do this tour for a long time to come because it is a great experience.

Amazing ghost tour!!

We all absolutely loved this tour! Jonathan was so engaging and we all loved it (kids are 6, 11 and 13). He is a wealth of knowledge about haunted New Orleans, but also just general New Orleans history. He also was able to tailor the tour based on the group’s questions (for example, my kids asked him if he knew any stories about our hotel being haunted, so we ended the tour at our hotel, learning about its haunted history). Two hours was the perfect about of time, and you stop part way through for a bathroom break and can buy a drink at the oldest bar in the US. There are so many companies that do haunted tours and we were so lucky to stumble upon his. I promise you will not be disappointed with this tour!

Good tour & Fun guide

Good tour & fun guide! I’ve taken several ghost tours, and Jonathan’s was a good one. His stories were NOT the common tales that are told in New Orleans (I over heard several other tours while on mine). It was interesting and Jonathan’s humor came through.
