Great in-depth tour of location and history by Helen who made it more personal with her stories. The tour got better and better as the day waned on!
This is of course a must-see experience in Beijing. The guide, Julia, was an excellent guide — she has significant knowledge of traditional Chinese thought and is extremely helpful and gracious with tour participants.
We had Lisa as a guide and she was great! we were able to see Tiananmen Square and a lot of the Forbidden City. She was incredibly knowledgeable walked us through several parts of this massive city. It was incredibly hot and humid in July make sure your ready for swarms of people and have lots of water and sunscreen!
The guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. The tour of the hutongs was very informative about the life in old China and also the present.
Vanessa was great tour guide. Very helpful and informative. We went on a sunny hot day, so lucky we had an umbrella for shade.
Pretty good guide. Was very patient and got the group to move through a lot of attractions quickly. If traveling in summer, go prepared. Not for people who might be sensitive to sun. Hat, water and shade are not negotiable.
The tour was scheduled to start at 9:30am but because of the long lines, I endured a wait time of about 1.5 hours in the hot sun before getting into T-Square. The tour guide, Neil, did an amazing job to keep us engaged during the wait by telling stories. The wait was a lot and drained my energy before the tour officially started. Nevertheless, Neil maintained high standards throughout the tour, showcasing his deep knowledge of the sights as well as his passion for the job, with his constant warm smiles.
Thank you very much for guiding us and shown forbidden city, Tiananmen Square by Vaneesa , she has explained very nicely and very good knowledge have
Friendly guide. Informative about the history of the forbidden city. Plenty of time and very considerate of a children’s needs.
Our guide Vanessa was very attentive to all the participants' needs and had a lot of informative stories to share. For the trip, especially in the hot summer, one should bring plenty of water, sun umbrellas, and a lot of energy, as the path within the Forbidden City is very extensive.
