Itinerary
Step inside the Forbidden City, once the private world of emperors and royals for over 500 years. With skip-the-line tickets, you won’t waste time in long queues—your private guide will lead you straight into a maze of grand halls, secret courtyards, and hidden treasures. Hear stories of imperial power, palace intrigues, and daily life behind the red walls that few tourists ever discover. Walking through the Hall of Supreme Harmony, the royal gardens, and lesser-known areas, you’ll feel like you’re stepping back into a living history book—exclusive, immersive, and unforgettable.
Escape the crowds and experience the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall, known for its breathtaking mountain scenery and peaceful trails. Unlike the busier Badaling section, Mutianyu offers wide stone steps, well-preserved watchtowers, and plenty of space for photos without the rush. Feel the thrill of standing on a UNESCO World Heritage site that winds endlessly over the green hills. For an extra adventure, choose the cable car or chairlift up and the fun toboggan ride down (optional, at your own expense). It’s not just a walk on the Wall—it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience of history, nature, and excitement combined.

It was an unexpected day! I believe there is no better way to know Great Wall. Larry met us at the train station, took us to the Summer Palace, he is an excellent tour guide. It gave us very interesting information about the history of china, without being tiring ... in fact, tiring is something Larry is not. Extremely polite and knows how to leave visitors at ease. On the second day we went to Great Wall. A great private wall. Only me and my wife! It is an area of the Great Wall that tourists will not go to. Obviously, another day full of learning and contemplation
This visit was incredible. Larry was so helpful, and nice ! He waited for me at the airport and drove me to the wall, with great talks along the way. He then dropped me off in th city centre of Beijing, right next to where my hostel was. I had a perfect service, with quality talk and beautiful pictures as an extra bonus. Unforgettable !
We took a tour of Huangjuacheng Wild Section and were very pleased with this tour. The path we took was so secluded that we could really enjoy the Great Wall and its views👍👍 The climb to Sunset Point itself takes about an hour, as we climbed relaxedly and rested a lot in the middle of the climb... 😁 If you are a fan of photography, then you will get a very beautiful photo object. Larry adalh English Speaking Guide is very friendly and ready to help. Larry was very interested in Chinese history, especially the history of the Great Wall. If one day we go to Beijing again, we'll definitely take a tour from Larry again. Thank you Larry... 😍😍
We did a unrestored section of the Great Wall with Larry, he was very sociable and friendly also very funny and knowledgeable of the history of the Great Wall and also the general history of Western Movies! I was so superised cause I'm a producer. He gave us very interesting facts during our ride to the Huanghuacheng Great Wall. This section of the wall is very quiet without the crowds I expected. He helped us get many beautiful pics that are very impressive. We are so happy with the tour I would highly recommend it. It was definitely the highlight of our trip to Beijing.
Larry was a great driver and tour guide. He is professional, knowledgeable and is fun to chat with. He takes the time to snap lovely pictures of you and your group. This particular tour was really beautiful and we only ran into two other groups (really private). It’s a lot of fun if you’re able to climb some steps/steep slopes. We would recommend Larry and his tours to anyone!
We decided to go with Larry upon another's friend's recommendation. Larry spoke English and we got to practice our Mandarin too! His driving was steady and good. The vehicle was clean and spacious. And we loved this wild section of the inner Great Wall. Best part - we were the only ones there!!! Bliss!
Dear Swee Chin, Sorry for your lunch at the restaurant where the village we stopped on our way to Huanghuacheng on May 21st. I’ve been asking you advise repeatedly what they had noodles with soup only no fried noodles even you saw the pic of their menu but they didn't make it anymore for everyone not only for you. That's a shame that you didn't enjoyed your lunch I was so sad about that!!!
Larry was an incredible guide. He arrived on time & ready. Larry made sure our whole family felt comfortable and welcome. Our daughter and I climbed to a higher section and Larry was patient. He took as many photos as we wanted. The location has a lot of changing lighting and makes beautiful photos. Highly recommended😊
First, Larry was punctual and courteous. Picked us up in a very nice Buick mini-van at our hotel. Gave us some history about the wall. The location he took us too was well off the beaten path. To get to the wall requires hiking up a hills and the. Climbing steps. I am 50 years old and overweight and I did it. But someone with a disability would most likely find it too hard. Beautiful section of the wall that is non-touristy. Got some great pictures. Great trip.
Larry was a great guide. He took us to a quieter more remote part of the Great Wall with the most stunning views and very few people. He was very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. A timely and considerate driver who picked us up at the airport and dropped us off at our hotel in a clean, tidy and comfortable people carrier. I couldn’t recommend Larry highly enough to make a special occasion – Fabulous.
I have no hesitation in recommending Larry. He picked us up from the airport and brought us to Huanghuacheng, explaining aspects of Chinese history and culture, and the Wall’s construction, along the way. He took photos along the way with his camera and emailed them to us afterwards. On the way home he overheard us (three Irishmen on a business trip to China) talking about how we could murder a cold beer when we got back to our hotel, and he stopped en route at a convenience store and surprised us with three cans of cold Yanjing beer! If/when I return to Beijing I wouldn’t look for anyone else as a tour guide.
