Our guide Joseph was a wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable guide. The history, stories were great. We really enjoyed the food, the experience walking through the market.
Yosed was a fantastic guide. His English was very good and took us to try so many different foods in the downtown area. He also brought his iPad to explain the history behind certain foods. Highly recommend as you will go to places that you wouldn’t find on your own.
Definitely one of the better food tours. Giovana was our tour guide and she was amazing. The food was great; the cow heart was my favorite. She was knowledgeable about the Peruvian history. She made the tour amazing. Definitely recommend!
Gia was a great tour guide/host. She seemed to really love what she does and she was very knowledgeable. The insight she gave into the culture of Peruvians changed our outlook on this trip. She was easy to communicate with, had a great personality, wore a smile the entire time and the "optional" time she spent with us after the tour was invaluable. Her food choices allowed us to check some items off our personal lists. She is going to be great in everything she does. The tour, knowledge and history were well worth the price.
Joseph was very good. He was very knowledgeable about the history and the food. The food was delicious.
This was absolutely wonderful! Lima is a mecca for delicious street foods, and it was so great to get a chance to try so many, especially since the sellers were vetted as having safe practices for the digestive systems of travelers. I'm really glad I did this at the start of my trip, because it gave me a better idea of some of the treats I'd want to have again and again throughout my travels. The portions were satisfying but didn't leave you feeling overstuffed. Overall, a really terrific tour!
Great food tour. Yoced was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and nice. We tried loads of foods, fruits, ceviche, beef heart and some drinks too. Took about 3 hours start to finish. There were 7 people in my tour.
The experience was authentic and immersive. The tour felt like a couple of friends going out for a good time. The admission fee was worth the food and the atmosphere of Lima. The length of visit was perfect it didn’t feel rushed and it flowed perfectly. The crowd size was perfect. It made it feel less like a tour and instead like a couple of friends going out to eat and hanging out. Arturo was very personable with lots of knowledge of the history of Lima and especially its food. This tour is best for those who love to learn about history and the food that rose from it.
We had delicious food. Our tour guide Arturo made sure to provide us with good food and conversation. He made all the difference for us having an amazing experience.
We had such a great time with Arturo! He was super knowledgeable, took us to some amazing food spots, and was great company throughout the tour. The conversation was easy, the food was delicious, and he made our last day in Lima a great one. We'd definitely book another tour with him and highly recommend him!
