Description

Learn to make fresh pasta, like our grandmothers made them in Italy. We will teach you every process and stand by you teaching you every step. Offered in a cooking school located inside a medieval tower from the 1200s, a stone's throw from Brunelleschi's Dome. Where you will breathe the air and life of Dante Alighieri, father of the Italian language because the tower where we will cook belonged to his wife's family.

The concept was super...

The concept was super fun! The chef was engaging and entertaining. However, the room was not air conditioned and only had one small fan. It was 95 degrees that day and the room felt like it was at least 100 degrees—miserable. Was NOT unlimited soft drinks as advertised—not enough for everyone to have one and it was way too hot for wine. It’s communal eating. You do not eat what you made. The ravioli I got had hair in it. No hair nets or gloves used by anyone. Overall, glad we experienced it, but very uncomfortable with AC and health standards were questionable.

Pasta cooking class

David was an exceptional instructor. We had so much fun learning how to make pasta, pasta sauce, and learning how to say Italian cooking terms.

Buonissimo!

What a fantastic experience. If you’re in Florence you must do this! Chef David is a very funny and welcoming man. A true Italian experience. You get so much pasta, wine, soft drinks etc. And you get to meet and talk with lots of people at the same table. You get taken care of well here. Grazie Chef David!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Incredible – The Best Experience We Had in Florence!

If you’re visiting Florence and wondering whether to book this cooking class, stop thinking and just do it. It was, without question, the best thing we did during our entire stay in Florence and worth every single cent. From the moment we arrived for the 10am class on 21 June, everything exceeded our expectations. We learned how to make three different types of authentic Italian pasta completely from scratch, and the experience was hands-on, informative, and so much fun from start to finish. The unlimited wine certainly didn’t hurt either! The food was absolutely outstanding. Every pasta dish was paired with incredible sauces that tasted better than anything we’ve had in many restaurants. Being able to create these dishes ourselves and then sit down to enjoy them made the experience even more special. The real star of the show, however, was our chef, Antonio. He was simply phenomenal. Antonio combined expert knowledge with a fantastic sense of humour, making everyone feel welcome, comfortable, and involved. His passion for Italian cooking was contagious, and he had the perfect balance of teaching, entertaining, and encouraging the group. He genuinely made the experience unforgettable. This wasn’t just a cooking class—it was one of those travel experiences that creates lifelong memories. We laughed, learned new skills, drank great wine, ate incredible food, and left feeling like we’d experienced a true taste of Tuscany. We would book this class again in a heartbeat and honestly wish we could do it all over tomorrow. If you’re travelling to Florence and don’t book this experience, you’re genuinely missing out. A huge thank you to Antonio for making our day so special. Jamie & Aaron Australia
