Itinerary

10 min

Get off the beaten track and discover Porta Romana, one of Florence's most impressive and least crowded historic gates. Built in 1328, this majestic gate marked the southern border of the city and welcomed travelers from Siena and Rome. Porta Romana is not only an ancient city gate, but a symbol of Renaissance Florence. Its stone structure, decorated with the Medici coat of arms, tells the stories of merchants, pilgrims and noble families who have passed through here for centuries. The area around Porta Romana offers a more authentic and local face of Florence, away from the most crowded tourist routes. From here you can reach the Boboli Gardens, walk in the elegant Oltrarno or continue towards the quiet hills of Florence. Perfect for those who want to experience a more authentic Florence.

5 min

Discover one of Florence's best-kept secrets on a relaxing golf cart tour of the Giardino del Bobolino, a small but charming Renaissance garden located in the Oltrarno district. Often ignored by most visitors, this tranquil green oasis offers a rare glimpse into the private gardens of noble Florentine families. The Giardino del Bobolino was created in the 16th century for the Corsini family and is one of the first examples of an Italian formal garden. During the golf cart ride, enjoy a comfortable and environmentally friendly ride through an authentic and peaceful neighborhood, away from the hustle and bustle of the Old Town. Inside the garden you will find elegant hedges, geometric paths, stone staircases and a relaxing atmosphere that invites you to experience Florence at a slower pace. The panoramic location offers beautiful views of the city, perfect for photos and moments of relaxation.

10 min

Live a unique experience between Tuscan history and culture with a visit to Villa Galileo, nestled in the picturesque hills of Pian dei Giullari, just outside the center of Florence. This quiet corner of the city reveals an authentic and lesser-known Florence, made of gentle slopes, elegant villas and centuries of history to discover. The route will take you comfortably through scenic roads and breathtaking viewpoints to Villa Il Gioiello, known as Villa Galileo. This extraordinary Renaissance Villa was the last residence of the famous scientist Galileo Galilei, who lived here from 1631 until his death in 1642, during the years of house arrest imposed by the Inquisition. Admire the exterior of the Villa and the surrounding gardens, once part of Galileo’s estate, while listening to fascinating tales about his life, discoveries and legacy. A perfect stop to enjoy beautiful views and experience the quieter and more authentic side of Florence.

15 min

Founded in 1872 and deeply linked to the legacy of Galileo Galilei, the Arcetri Observatory stands in the same area where Galileo spent the last years of his life. Today it is part of the National Institute of Astrophysics (INAF) and continues to play an important role in international space research, studying the Sun, stars and galaxies further away. Reaching the observatory in a comfortable eco-friendly golf cart, you will cross quiet streets and scenic landscapes away from the crowds of the old town. From the hill you can admire beautiful views of Florence and the Tuscan countryside, making this stop perfect for photographs and moments of relaxation immersed in nature and knowledge. This tour is ideal for those who love hidden places, science and authentic Florence, offering a rare opportunity to connect the city’s Renaissance genius to modern discoveries about the universe.

20 min

Reach Florence's most famous viewpoint in total comfort with a golf cart tour of Piazzale Michelangelo, the rooftop terrace that offers one of the most spectacular views of the city. From this iconic hill you can admire an extraordinary view of the historic center of Florence: the Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio, Santa Croce, the Arno river and the rolling Tuscan hills that extend to the horizon. It is the perfect place to take unforgettable photos and appreciate all the beauty of Florence from above. Along the way, your local guide will share curiosities and stories about Florentine history, art and traditions. Once you arrive, you will have time to relax, enjoy the view and experience the unique atmosphere of the place — especially at sunset, when Florence turns golden and the view becomes truly unforgettable. A must for those visiting Florence, made even more pleasant by an elegant and relaxing experience aboard a golf cart.

10 min

Discover one of the most beautiful and spiritual places in Florence with a visit to San Miniato al Monte, a masterpiece of Romanesque architecture located on a hill overlooking the entire city. Dating back to the 11th century, this extraordinary basilica is considered one of the best examples of Romanesque style in Tuscany. The white and green marble façade, the quiet interiors and the ancient mosaics create an atmosphere of timeless peace and beauty, away from the crowds of the old town. From the terrace in front of the church you can admire a spectacular panoramic view of Florence, even more intimate and quiet than Piazzale Michelangelo. The view embraces the Duomo, the Arno River and the Tuscan hills, giving a perfect moment to relax and take beautiful photographs. This stop is ideal for those seeking art, history, spirituality and hidden places, offering a deep bond with the soul of Florence and its centuries-old traditions.

10 min

Enter the elegant world of the Medici with a visit to Villa Poggio Imperiale, one of the finest and least known Medici villas, nestled in the quiet hills just outside the center of Florence. Originally built in the 15th century and later transformed into a prestigious residence for the Grand Duchesses of Tuscany, this UNESCO World Heritage Villa reflects centuries of Florentine history, art and power. Its name derives from Mary Magdalene of Austria, who in the seventeenth century gave it its imperial character. Surrounded by gardens and beautiful views, Villa Poggio Imperiale offers a perfect combination of architecture, nature and tranquility, away from the crowds of the city centre. Today the Villa also houses an educational institution, adding a living and authentic dimension to this noble residence. Reaching the Villa during the tour allows you to enjoy a scenic road among the Florentine hills, between relaxing landscapes and beautiful views of the city.

100% Fabulous!

We met Emile at the garden parking lot area at the Roman Gate. This excursion is fabulous taking you to beautiful sights that will surprise and delight you that you do not want to miss! Emile was very accommodating with time at the stops along the way and even took several pictures of our group for our treasured memories. When our tour was over he greatly assisted us by allowing a drop off point closer to our next destination. We highly recommend this tour!

Highly recommend

Emilie and his colleague were good tour guides—informative, courteous, and incredibly attentive throughout the tour. They made sure both my mom and young daughter were enjoying themselves by playing personalized music, pointing out things that interested them, and even taking great group pictures for us. The sights were absolutely amazing, and there’s no way we would have been able to see so much on our own. This tour was well worth the cost and truly one of the highlights of our trip.

Grazie Benito

We had an unforgettable golf cart tour of Florence thanks to Benito our incredible guide. At just 24, his depth of knowledge was genuinely impressive—he brought Italy’s history to life in a way that felt both effortless and engaging. We so impressed with his knowledge. What really set him apart, though, was his warmth and personality. He made us feel completely at ease from the start, like we were exploring Florence with a knowledgeable friend rather than a guide. His passion for what he does shines through in every story he told us, and his ability to connect the past with the present made the entire experience meaningful and memorable. This wasn’t just a tour—it was one of the highlights of our trip. If you’re lucky enough to get him as your guide, you’re in for something special. He has a very bright future ahead of him. Good luck and thank you Benito!!!
