Nice place

A lot to walk on the island. Be prepared to spend 2-3 hours to enjoy the place. All amenities available including good cafe

Not really anything on the island to see. Nowhere to eat was open at dinner time.

Boring. Walked around for hours and saw very little. We thought we would have dinner, but nothing was open.

just get the hsl ferry

waste of money, not worth paying any money for no reason just get the hsl one for cheaper and direct, only reason is staying at lonna

Operator response

Thanks for your review! Both products are not fully comparable. Our ferry brings you to Suomenlinna and Lonna with a coffee shop onboard and most important, straight to the heart of Suomenlinna without a lot of walking compared to the HSL ferry. Furthermore, skip the long queue of the public ferry with our service 😊 The price difference is 3€.

Nice trip to Suomenlinna

Ferry was on time and enjoyable. The fortress site was very interesting, and can be explored in 90 min. or so

A Harbor trip with more.

It was a nice half day trip, perfect for a group or solo. Plenty to experience and see. It has a nice harbor view as an add value. Go first thing in the morning as later on becomes very busy. I took the 9:00 AM ferry and it was comfortable.

Ferry to Suomenlinna is a bargain self tour

Amazing self guided jaunt to Suomenlinna Fortress. The ferry is cheap and always on time. This is an easy trip from downtown Helsinki which provides some outstanding views of the city. Easy add on to your Helsinki self tour.

Fun erry ride to and from Suomenlinna Maritime Fortress

The ferry ride to and from Suomenlinna Maritime Fortress was fun and also quick. We bought a one-day transit pass, which includes passage on all buses, trams, subways in the A & B zones of Helsinki - it also includes passage on the ferry. The harbor was frozen over, so the ferry was breaking ice each way, which was fun (it wasn't thick ice, so no worries). There are places inside to watch the passage and stay warm, or you can go outside and watch the bow press through the ice.
