Getting picked up at the Lisbon hotel and driven to Fatima greatly reduced our time traveling and finding the location of the tour guide. Nelson was a wealth of information about Fatima, Portugal and the history of many countries. He was professional and respectful, making sure we had time to reflect and pray at any of the Fatima spots. An amazing day. Thank you!

The tour of Fatima was exceptional. Our tour guide, Nelson, planned a perfect itinerary to share the story of the people and places of Fatima. The tour was the highlight of our visit to Lisbon.

Nelson provided us with a fantastic experience. He is knowledgeable, thorough, patient, and he tailors his pace to match his audience. We were a group of 12, and we all felt this tour could not have been better. Highly recommend for those wanting a detailed and complete tour of Fatima and the village the children called home.

Visiting Fatima is a special experience. But touring it with Nelson who grew up and still lives in Fatima provided us with unique insights from his personal experiences. This allowed us to stand on the actual site of one of Mary’s apparitions, an unforgettable moment. I could recommend no better guide than Nelson.

The "most" enjoyable experience of our whole European vacation. Life changing experience that should not be missed. I am grateful that I chose a private tour, nothing like it. We had such an emotional feeling come over up upon visiting the home of Saint Jacinta and Saint Francisco. Please do yourself a favor and get this tour. We enjoyed an excellent tour of the holy sites of Fatima with Nelson - I give his tour the highest recommendation. Nelson picked us up in Lisbon and we had a very comfortable ride to Fatima, with Nelson providing a lot of background information on Fatima, and Portugal in general, on the drive. We visited the village sites including Francisco & Jacinta's home, the three sites of the appearance of the Angel of Peace, and the site of the fourth apparition of Mary. Nelson also took us to the Parish Church of Fatima - the "home parish" of Francisco, Jacinta and Lucia. I highly encourage including these sites as part of your tour as Nelson gives a lot of great background information on life in the village -- and the visit to the Sanctuary was more meaningful having seen the other sites which really give a picture as to life in the Village over 100 years ago. Finally, Nelson guided us through the Sanctuary, which included the two Baslicas, the Chapel of the Apparitions, and the square. It was an incredible experience and an absolute highlight of our trip to Portugal.

My wife and I have traveled extensively and done dozens of these type of tours. This was without question the best tour we’ve ever had! We did ( and would highly recommend) the 4 hour tour as it really gives you the full Fatima story and experience. Nelson, our guide, is from the area and his detailed knowledge makes a wonderful tour even better as you feel you are living the experience as you visit the houses of the 3 children, the apparition sites and then the main square and cathedral. Again, I can’t recommend this highly enough!!!

What a wonderful experience my husband and I had with Nelson as our guide! We loved every minute of our tour from our pick up to drop off at our hotel. The pre tour communication was terrific! Nelson answered our emails promptly. Considering the time difference, he was fast! Nelson knows his country and the love and knowledge he has for it is infectious! We made stops at Nazaré, Obidos and Fátima. All three were perfectly timed to miss the crowds as much as possible. Nelson is from the Fátima area so he knew right where to take us for lunch. Having lived many years in Australia, Nelson’s English is perfect and he is an excellent driver. We highly recommend this tour company and are sure you will love your experience!

This tour company is a MUST do for your visit to Fatima! Fatima Experience has the best tour guides! Nelson was absolutely fantastic! He was very knowledgeable, respectful, interesting and passionate! His ability to create the right mood for his tour is very impressive, I believe it's because he really cares and believes every little detail that he is providing us. I was so happy to see the devout attitude with which he spoke about all the happenings of the apparitions. My husband and I completely enjoyed each minute of the tour. We even asked him to provide us with an additional tour the following day of the Eucharistic Miracle of Santarem! He was very accommodating and absolutely delightful!

We were a group of 4 and having Nelson as our guide was a Blessing! He is personally knowledgeable and gave us so much history and details; I had been to Fatima with a large pilgrimage 17 years ago and I was surprised to learn more details I didn't know. He also was gracious to make sure we did what we wanted to do, such as attending Mass, working around our wants and needs. He personally picked an exceptional restaurant that served us an authentic Portugese meal in a family setting. Although it was raining, he made sure to have umbrellas ready for us and didn't hesitate to continue the tour with us. From the comfortable pick up in a beautiful vehicle at our Lisbon hotel to the drop off, we were so comfortable and happy with Nelson's personal attention and detail to our trip that we walked away feeling truly blessed! I wholeheartedly recommend Nelson if you want to get the full, spiritual experience of Fatima in one day.
