THIS IS A SCAM. You will be scammed by this tour and Viator will say they “Have to ask the company” to “allow you a refund” and then you won’t get money back from Viator. Use Get Your Guide and don’t get scammed!
We are sorry to hear about your experience, but we respectfully clarify that we are a legitimate tour operator and not a scam. All bookings are processed through Viator, and any refund request must be reviewed according to the selected product’s cancellation policy and the booking circumstances. We take such concerns seriously and would appreciate the opportunity to investigate your case properly. Please contact us through your Viator booking with your reservation number and full details so our team can review what happened and provide the appropriate support.
I was very disappointed because when I arrived at the museum with my fast track ticket, I was told that because it was sold to me by a third-party I could not get in the fast track line. So I basically paid for fast track with no fast track. Next time I’ll just purchase through the museum.
We are very sorry for the disappointment and confusion you experienced. You booked the fast-track option with the reasonable expectation of receiving priority entry. We are investigating this matter with our supplier and the museum to understand why the fast-track access was not accepted. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.
Bad experience. Paid a premium for a timed-entry ticket, went to the Quayside entry for 14:00. The museum staff told me I had an anytime ticket, for a different entrance, and waiting in queue at the Frontcourt entrance. My booking confirmation stated “Fast Track Entrance” which museum staff tell me doesn’t exist. Furthermore the ticket booking experience was through TripAdvisor, but ticket delivery was through WhatsApp, which seems unacceptably questionable. Completely unacceptable experience, when I could have saved a lot of money and just lined up for regular tickets for the same effect.
We sincerely apologize for the confusion and frustration caused during your visit. You paid a premium expecting timed fast-track entry, so we fully understand your disappointment when the museum staff advised that your ticket provided standard anytime access through another entrance. We are urgently investigating the incorrect “Fast Track Entrance” information with our ticket supplier to prevent this from happening again. Tickets may be delivered through WhatsApp to provide quick access, but we understand why this felt concerning when combined with the entry issue. Please accept our deepest apologies for the inconvenience, wasted time, and poor experience. Thank you for bringing this serious matter to our attention.
Tickets ordered Ju e 26th for July 10th. July 9th less than 24 hours before needed, no tickets, provider did not answer phone. Called Viator, they could not reach the ticket provider. Lesson learned, do not book through a third party.
Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. Your booking included free cancellation up to 24 hours before the scheduled visit. As per our standard process, the e-tickets were issued and shared with you approximately 24 hours before your travel date, which was within the expected delivery timeframe. We understand how concerning it can be when tickets are received close to the visit time, and we regret any stress this may have caused. We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to improve our communication and delivery process to provide a better experience for our customers. Thank you for your understanding, and we hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future.
This is NOT a skip the line ticket to the Orsay Museum. Even though it says it is in the headline and you are prompted to pick a time. When we arrived we were prompted to go in the line for people with tickets - not the priority line. Then we stood online for over an hour. When they started letting the priority line in, the museum abruptly stopped letting people in. After a half hour, we were told the museum would not be opening that day. We promptly informed Viator of the issue and that vendor said the ticket can be used for a different day. This was our last day in Paris and we requested a refund. They rejected our refund request.
Thank you for sharing your experience. We are very sorry for the confusion regarding the ticket type and for the time you spent waiting at the Musée d’Orsay. We understand how frustrating it was to be directed to the regular ticket-holder line after expecting priority access, especially when the museum later stopped entry and closed for the day. We also recognize that using the ticket on another date was not helpful because this was your final day in Paris. Although the museum closure was outside our control, we are sorry that the product wording and refund outcome added to your disappointment. We are reviewing the listing details to ensure the access conditions and queue information are explained more clearly to future visitors.
This was billed as skip the line entry. Didn’t happen. Never found the guide fo me. Just lots of other companies. Wa directed to the general line for those without timed entry Not your fault but the museum act closed for the morning due to technical difficulties. Think it was the heat Called the contact number and emailed asking for a refund. Got this request for feedback before I have heard anything
We’re very sorry for the confusion and inconvenience. The skip-the-line service should have provided clear meeting instructions and assisted entry, so we understand your frustration when the guide could not be found and you were directed to the general line. The museum’s temporary closure was outside our control, but your refund request should still have been acknowledged promptly. We apologize that you received a feedback request before receiving an update.
Be sure you have the Viator app downloaded before you get there. Even though I had the museum vouchers in my apple wallet they wouldn’t help me gain admission until I got the app (while standing in a busy Paris museum line.)
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear about the inconvenience you experienced at the museum entrance. We would like to clarify that the tickets were sent to both the email address and the WhatsApp number provided during the booking process. Guests can normally access their tickets directly from either of these channels without requiring the Viator app. The Viator app is offered as an additional convenience for managing bookings, but the tickets and vouchers shared via email and WhatsApp are generally sufficient for admission. Entry procedures may vary depending on the attraction's systems and operational requirements on the day of the visit. We understand that having to download an app while waiting in line was frustrating, and we appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention. Your feedback helps us improve the information we provide to future guests.
We were sold tickets that were supposed to be for a reserved time but the tickets we received were general admission so we were not able to use the reserved line.
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify that the tickets provided were valid and matched the booking details confirmed at the time of purchase. The reserved entry time was secured through the booking, but access procedures and queue management at the venue are controlled directly by the attraction. In some cases, venue staff may direct guests through specific entry points based on operational requirements on the day of the visit. The tickets delivered to you were the official tickets issued by the attraction partner, and no issue was reported regarding their validity or admission. We understand your frustration regarding the queue experience, but the type of access available was consistent with the product booked and the ticket issued. We appreciate your feedback and will continue working with our partners to ensure booking information and entry instructions are communicated as clearly as possible.
We booked too late to get a guided tour, but the fast-track entry was perfect. We literally walked right into the museum, showing our passes at the door and that was that. At the end of the day, we didn't miss the guide. The d'Orsay is a smaller museum and easily accessible. We followed signs and read placards, and after three hours, thought we had seen most of the items on display in the museum. We recommend the fast-track entry to anyone who wants to visit the Musee d'Orsay.
Could not download tickets got voucher Could not get entrance I want a refund
We are sorry to hear about your experience. The voucher and ticket instructions were shared according to the booking process, and in many cases the voucher must be exchanged or downloaded before entry as per the attraction policy. We regret that you faced difficulty accessing the tickets and were unable to enter the attraction. Please contact our support team with your booking details so the matter can be reviewed further.
