Constructed by Count Hugo I. of Montfort, it served as the ancestral seat of the Montfort family until 1390. Had a great day! Amier was a very professional and friendly guide. He picked us up right from our hotel in Lucerne, which made everything so easy and comfortable. We had an amazing tour with Talwar Travels exploring 3 countries in one day! We were 2 couples, and everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Our guide was very kind, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. One of my favorite parts was the chocolate tasting — especially the blonde chocolate, it was absolutely delicious! We got to try so many different chocolates. Liechtenstein was such a beautiful little country, very clean and peaceful. The viewpoint our guide took us to on the hill was truly spectacular with breathtaking views. Lunch in Austria was also fantastic. We visited a very local restaurant near the castle and tried traditional Austrian schnitzel, which was so delicious and authentic. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a memorable and fun experience. Thank you again for all your suggestions and for making our day so special!
We had a really nice tour from Lucerne with Amier. He was a very kind, safe, and knowledgeable driver. He explained every place we visited and shared interesting information during the trip, which made the experience even better. Our first stop was the chocolate factory and it was awesome. We got to try chocolate from the chocolate fountain which was really fun, and we even made our own customized chocolate. Such a cool experience. The second stop was Feldkirch, a very beautiful old town. We had lunch at a local restaurant inside a castle that is around 700 years old. It was a very different experience. I tried schnitzel and it tasted very authentic. If you go there, definitely try the local beer as well. The view from the castle viewpoint was absolutely fabulous. After that we visited Liechtenstein, which was also very beautiful. We went to the church where the princess got married. The church and the town are both lovely and peaceful. The van was very comfortable and the whole trip was very relaxed. Overall it was a great day and a really nice experience. I would definitely recommend this tour.
This tour was fantastic! Our phenomenal tour guide, Balihar, was the most gracious host - he was able to answer our many cultural and historical questions about Switzerland, Austria and Lichtenstein without missing a beat! Balihar was a joy to be around and his excitement and kindness made the tour unforgettable. We travelled with 3 kids aged 14-8, and he held their attention all day as well. We all recommend Balihar and his tour to anyone!

I was a little worried to book this because of the lack of reviews. We just finished our day and it was outstanding! If you are looking for a tour other than Engleberg while in Switzerland, I highly recommend this one! Van was new, roomy and very comfortable. Our guide picked us up from our hotel and we had a day full of beautiful views, sightseeing and got so many amazing photos! He was truly amazing and we felt like friends by the end. I was worried it would be too much time in the van but it’s the perfect mix. We enjoyed the scenery between stops. Truly I can’t recommend enough! We are a family of 4 (two 10 year old boys) from the US but I think anyone would enjoy.
This tour was exactly what we wanted. Our guide took us to hand selected locations that felt genuine. We didn’t have to wait in endless lines like most of the tourist attractions have. Balihar communicated very well with us and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute. We had originally booked a tour with Tours by Locals and they cancelled on us twice.
