Houses the most important salt mines of the Inca period and we also find the archaeological site of Moray is famous for its impressive circular terraces, which functioned as an Inca agricultural laboratory. The Maras Salt Mines consist of more than 3,000 pools used for salt extraction since pre-Inca times. Their uniqueness is due to: Natural saltwater source: An underground spring with a high saline content feeds the pools.

MORAY. • It is located 7 km. from Maras, two hours from the city of Cusco along the Chinchero route is one of the most spectacular visits where there are circular platforms of different sizes. They are terraces of agricultural experimentation and places of concentration of feminine energy, for which it is considered as a magnetic center of the Pachamama.
SALAS DE MARAS. • Located northwest of the town of Maras Known by some as "salt mines" they are made up of about 3,000 small wells. Salt has been obtained since pre-Hispanic times through a system for drying the salty water in the sun that occurred from an underground stream. Once the water has evaporated, the salt is ready for sale. • We will return to Cusco (02:00 PM)
