This was a great wine experience. Theresa did a fantastic job entertaining the group (in both English and Spanish) and the wineries did not disappoint. We really loved the intimacy and history given at the first location. The dinner at the second winery was sooooooo good I thought I would explode. Turns out I'm obsessed with truffle oil 🤤 The only part I could have done without is the small town stopover between tastings
Fantastic afternoon / Evening, we called in At the first where we had a little tour of where they made the wine, then we sat and had a taste of 3 lovely wines and amazing Olive Oil, the lady showing us round tought us a lot about wine and how to make it, which was very good. We then went on to look round a cute little village for 45 minutes and then onto the final reserve where we sat next to the vines and had a lovely 2 course meal and a try of 6 wines which were amazing. The other people on the tour were great, we had such a laugh whilst having the food, it was great getting to know them. All in all, it was very well run, we had great food, even better wine and got to meet some great people. Thanks!
Cecilia and Jean Luca gave us a great tour of a winery and vineyard dinner. The tour was well planned and great for an afternoon and evening in Tuscany.
this was a delightful trip into wine country. It was a fun small group and the wineries that we visited were top-notch
The experience was excellent and good value money. The first visit the guide was outstanding I believe her name was Jackie from memory, very invested and articulate during the tour we could have listened to her for hours! The wine also was very good along with the oil and balsamic. She was extremely knowledgeable from everything from the grape, the barrel production & flavours to the aging & bottling. The second vineyard was also a really good experience, not quite as in depth on the tour as the first but ample choice of wines to taste and the food was great. Highly recommend this tour for a good insight into Chianti and tasting opportunities as well as the overall experience
Gennaro did such an incredible job!! My fiancé and I were sadly were only in Florence for 2 nights, so this trip was the perfect amount of time! The wine was incredible and everyone we met was so kind! We were even lucky enough to stop and take some photos during golden hour over Tuscany! 😍
We had a wonderful time. The wine was really good & the views were so beautiful. In addition to the 2 wineries we made a stop at an incredible castle at sunset where we got amazing pictures. There was also some cute shops to buy souvenirs. The dinner was delicious & everyone was so friendly. The experience exceeded my expectations!
I had a wonderful half-day experience as a solo traveller, learning about and tasting wines in the Chianti region and beyond, as well as tasting olive oil and balsamic, with views to match. It was great to have such a friendly, accommodating and informative guide, we had a lovely group and I am going home with some lovely memories.
This was a great experience, the wineries were gorgeous and truly showed the picturesque heart of Tuscany. Our host was incredibly fun and loved to be involved with the guests. The wines gave a little bit for everyone but it was mostly red. The only downside was that we didn’t realize we wouldn’t get back till almost 11:30pm and we were exhausted. Also, definitely take motion sickness medicine because the travel each time you’re in the bus (3 times) is between 45 mins to an hour so it’s a lot of opportunity to feel nauseous before dinner at 9pm.
We loved this! This tour was the easiest to locate that was experienced in Italy. They had signs and wore bright colors so we could easily find them. We rode in a nice mini bus with beautiful views of Tuscany. Many windy roads around the mountains, so if you get car sick, take nausea meds. The first winery provided a cellar tour, 1 white and 2 reds, as well as 1 piece of bread, 1 piece of salami, and 1 piece of cheese per person. Then we stopped in Greve which is a really cute town with little shops and restaurants. Our stop was 40 minutes. The last stop was at a beautiful vineyard where we had 2 whites, 5 reds, a 3 course meal, as well as olive oil and balsamic tastings. The meal was in a room downstairs, not in the vineyard, but it was cold out so that may be why. The meal was so good and fun to try everything. They also provided biscotti in the end and the option to buy bottles. All the hosts were knowledgeable and we really enjoyed it. We’re not fancy wine drinkers so the level of detail was good for us. We definitely recommend!
