We will pick you up directly at the cruise terminal. Pick up Time: 7:00am to 7:30am Your driver/guide will be waiting for you at the designated pickup area holding a sign with the lead traveler's name. Please ensure you are ready 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time. Itinerary: Pickup at Puerto Limón cruise terminal Tortuguero Canal Boat Tour (1 hour): Glide through the lush canals, where you'll have the chance to spot wildlife such as sloths, toucans, iguanas, and monkeys. Banana Plantation Stop (30 mins): Visit a local banana plantation and learn about the process of cultivation and export—Costa Rica’s top export industry. Panoramic City Tour (45 mins): Drive through Limón's historical city center. Your guide will point out key landmarks, colorful street art, and cultural highlights from the Afro-Caribbean heritage. This tour is very worth the time! Richard was great! Took us places of interest to us, explained local culture and history and made sure we did everything we wanted to see. He was also able to tell us about medicinal plants. Our boat captain, Venton, made sure we saw monkeys, sloths and a cayman. He was very knowledgeable about the birds and wildlife. Overall an amazing tour.
We loved this tour with Richard. He was very informative about the native plants and animals. The boat tour was fabulous also.
