Renan Alves was our guide. He is getting his PhD at the University of Coimbra in history. His knowledge was beyond description. Details. Dates. Perspectives. Insights. It was amazing - even if, at times, overwhelming. We never had to wait on lines. The tour was 2 hrs 30 min. which seemed to be the right amount of time.
Renan is an awesome guide, knows a lot about history and explains everything in a very entertaining way! We wish we could take him with us to other places in Portugal. I could not recommend him more!
