We take you on a tour of the lesser known parts of Bruges, the side tourists never get to see. We'll tell you old tales, legends and ghost stories that are as old as the city itself, and we'll make the fascinating history of Bruges come to life!
We start the tour on the main square with a historical introduction of Bruges.
Here we'll tell you the history of the beautiful Jan van Eyck square, the old harbour of medieval Bruges!
On this square, where all the Italian trading houses used to be located, you can see one of the first stock exchange markets of the world, dating back to the 13th century
Hear the interesting story of how the picturesque Golden Hand Canal got its name. It includes the devil, tragedy and a substantial dose of superstition.
Take a look at the oldest bar in Bruges and Belgium, where people have come to drink beer since 1515!
Find out the fascinating legendary story of this iconic church, which was built as a copy of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem.
Take a snapshot of the majestic mills on the outskirts of the city and marvel at one of the remaining medieval city gates.

A fun interesting and educational tour. You go to places you don't normally go. Explanations are good and the guide pays attention to his group. Definitely worth it. Good to know, it costs almost nothing so a tip is much appreciated!

Very interesting and a lovely walk. Thanks. However, at the time of booking, we would have appreciated information about the cost upfront. Specifically, please tell us that the initial payment is meant to covered a booking fee. We would have appreciated clarity and being told that Tips are very expected and necessary.
Good historic tour and sites, but to slow and to long, needed quick info and detial, tour ended up being 2 1/4hrs. Needed to be a max 1.5

We had a great evening tour with guide Hilde, despite a torrential downpour at the beginning. Hilde took us to parts of the city off the beaten track, shared her wide breadth of knowledge about Bruges alongside the stories of ghosts and historical dramas. She was entertaining and engaging. we would do this again and recommend to visitors to Bruges
Nice tour, definitely recommended to learn more about Bruges. You pass places where you as a tourist yourself would be less likely to walk him. Our guide could tell well and clearly.
