We, the present members of the Scilio Family are the fifth generation producing wine on our estate in Linguaglossa. It is a family tradition that we will safe guard and pass on to the future generations. Our Wine making philosophy is based on the careful cultivation of our vineyards to give us the best possible grape production for wines that preserve and reflect the characteristics of the Etna Terroir.

Such a beautiful place…delicious wine and very nice people! Old winery still in use…lovely tasting room/restaurant. Guido gave us an excellent tour…lunch was plentiful and delicious…gorgeous charcuterie board complete with fresh pears and wine grapes…nice selection of tasty wines…well worth the trip…
We enjoyed the Reinforced Tasting antipasto platter, dessert and organic wines very much! Guido did a great job. The tasting took place in the restaurant and it was a lovely setting. The owners, Giovanni and Elizabeth, gave us the tour. They are very gracious and have built a beautiful property and business.

This experience was stellar. Guido was super knowledgeable and kind while showing us around the winery. It was so interesting to see the process of what goes into making a good bottle of wine. Scilio can be found would wide (Total Wines, USA). We were able to taste 4 different wines while enjoying bread, meats, cheeses, olives, and sun dried tomatoes all while have great conversation with Guido.
The place is a unique location one of a kind the hospitality was great and the breakfast was simply exceptional I heartily suggest to stop here at least for a couple of nights:definitely with it
This tour and wine tasting was unbelievable… Guido made it to perfection, explained everything about this bio Etna wine and his region… We felt in love immediately! You MUST take this tour if you pass by Taormina or Mount Etna! You will not regret it! Thanks again Guido!!!!
Guido was our guide for this informative and absolutely stunning tour of the Organic Scilio winery. We were lucky to be in the picking season and experience the drying process of Grapes for the making of the Sikelios (sweet red). The tour was full of amazing views all around. The Variety of different wines allowed us to taste and understand how different variables effect the flavours. Food served for the tasting was of top quality also with home grown olives, dried tomatoes, cheeses, exceptional bread from the local bakery and much more. Only being a 45minute drive from Catania is a must see when visiting the Island. Thanks again Guido.
The visit and tasting at the winery was perfect. There were very kind and we got much of information and a very good wine for tasting, also homemade things to eat. It was really delicious and we are very happy, that we could be there.
