You´ll visit the most beautiful places of the Biscay coast calmly, enyoing all the places. All tours are private, the costumers travel without other people, only you and the guide. I'll take you at your accommodation and we'll return when the tour has finished. The complete visit to Gaztelugatxe requieres a significant effort. It can also be seen from the viewpoints.

It's a very special place for basque people. Little island connected to land through a stone bridge and with an outstanding view. After going down the cliff by a path, we must climb 241 step in order to get to San Juan ermitage. The views are impossible to forget.
The most important seafaring town in Biscay, full of life and interesting history. A walk through the old town will take us to the port.
Small town where we'll enjoy beautiful views of Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve. Very famous among surfers around the world thanks to his perfect left wave.
A very important town for the basque people. Here we'll visit the "Board House" where it's located the famous Gernika tree. Here we'll find out about the history and traditions of the Basque Country. We can see the "Gernika" reproduction, the famous Piccasso's picture.

Jose was a wonderful guide who took us to several places along the coast. He gave us interesting information about the history of of the coastal cities and the politics that affected rhem, especially duing the second world war. Jose was extremely knowledgable, spoke perfect English and could not have been nicer! Our group of four truly enjoyed this day trip with Jose and would highly recommend him.

Our guide Jose Luis was without a doubt born to unveil his world to others. There is a passion in his explanations, without being overwhelming, in his ability to impart his experience and knowledge about Spain but in particular the Basque Country. He is above all else a gentleman in the way he cares for his clients. The three main places we went to were all different. From the dramatic vistas of San Juan de Gaztelugatxe, to the traditional fishing towns of Bermeo and Mundaka, and the lovely historical town of Guernica (Gernika-Lumo). Just be prepared with an umbrella and/or a raincoat. Just like Ireland, Northern Spain is emerald green due to the abundance of rain. Nonetheless, we had a magnificent day. We highly recommend the tour and our amazing guide Jose Luis.

Lovely day of exploring Basque Country natural beauty and learning about history and culture. Despite weather predictions of rain, the adventure along the cost was wonderful. You cannot beat the reward of making it up to San Juan de Gatzelugatxe. Jose Luis is immensely knowledgeable and is tuned into to your needs, to either go more slowly or spend time in one stop. Highly recommend.

Our guide, Jose, arrived at our hotel and picked us up shortly before 9am. Having led tours for many years now, he knew the best times to get to each stop. He was able to answer nearly every question we had right off and if he didn’t know the answer, he took the time to find the answer for us. Over the years I have been on numerous tours and this was certainly one of the best. Since this was a private tour, we were able to set our own pace and were never rushed along and never had to wait for anyone else. The recommendation for lunch was spot on and we enjoyed it thoroughly. I hope to return to the Basque Country someday and I hope I cross paths with Jose again.
