Many of Hawaii’s alii (royalty) lived in Waikiki and King Kalakaua selected a 300-acre track of land at the base of Diamond Head for a public park in 1867. Today, it is a gathering place that thrives with walkers, runners, tennis enthusiasts and picnickers. Grab lunch on Kalakaua Avenue and enjoy it in one of the shaded picnic areas scattered around this colorful park.

Hawaii’s most recognized landmark is known for its historic hiking trail, stunning coastal views, and military history. Diamond Head State Monument encompasses over 475 acres, including the interior and outer slopes of the crater.

- Maximum rider weight is 275 for E-Bikes.
- The minimum age for riders is 15. Children 15-18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Make sure to wear closed toe shoes and suntan lotion! Please do not wear long dresses or skirts as they can effect your safety when riding.
- There is no minimum height, but we have found individuals under 5 feet may have more difficulty riding eBikes.

We loved this tour! Ryan was great! Friendly and informative. The hike was a bit challenging at times, but well worth it.
Ryan provided an amazing experience! He did a great job teaching the ins and outs of riding an ebike which most of our group had never done before. He shared interesting facts regarding the history of the area. He was always watching out for us whether it was safety while biking on the road or during the hike to the top of Diamond Head. We had our own personal photographer too so we didn’t have to keep fussing with our cameras. It was a really fun, albeit exhausting trip. Book with Ryan - it’s totally worth it!

This was a wonderful tour. You should feel confident in your ebike riding skills as Waikiki is busy. Our tour guide/owner was exceptional at communicating. He was very knowledgeable, fun, and made sure to go at a good pace. The hike was fairly steep but worth the sore calf muscles I had the next day. If you are moderately fit don't hesitate to do this bike and hike of Diamond Head Crater. It was on my bucket list and this 68 yr old grandma is so thrilled to have done this tour.
It was a spectacular visit, we could appreciate the beautiful views of Oahu and we toured some of its neighborhoods and climbed the diamond head crater. The guide was very friendly.

Our tour with Ryan was probably one of the best biking tours we have done in may world cities. Relaxed tour lot of good stories and the bikes were perfect. All in all a good afternoon spent and we saw a lot of nice stuff. Highly recommended!
