Description
This incredible tour of Edinburgh begins in the shadow of Edinburgh Castle. We’ll take a leisurely walk through the Grassmarket up Victoria Street, one of the most photographed and beloved streets in all of Edinburgh. Along the way, we’ll point out various restaurants, shops, pubs, and other attractions you should check out while you are in Edinburgh. At our next stop near the Royal Mile, we’ll enjoy a delicious selection of chocolate, jammy, and other kinds of donuts at Mòr Bakery Followed shortly thereafter is a family-owned bakery with classic Scottish pastries that you are going to love. After a quick pause for some photos, we’ll make our way to our last stop which is a specialty coffee shop and donutterie. Our tour begins in the shadow of the castle. We'll provide some history of the castle while we try some tasty donuts.

Princes Street is one of the major thoroughfares in central Edinburgh, Scotland and the main shopping street in the capital.
The Scott Monument is a Victorian Gothic monument to Scottish author Sir Walter Scott. It is the second largest monument to a writer in the world.

This was a great beginning to our stay in Edinburgh. Christine was great, giving us a nice history lesson along our journey filled with some humor as well. All of the pastries were delicious, recommended to go on an empty stomach!

Christine was amazing. This tour was the highlight of our trip and we really enjoyed the history and the food. My husband says this was the superior way to start your time in Edinburgh since you get to enjoy local bakeries and hear the history of old town since you cover such a large area! Our guide did a fantastic job of telling the stories while adding in humor to keep you engaged as well
