We went on this 90 min tour with family. This tour was excellent and our tour guide Tony was super knowledgeable and engaging. It was fascinating to hear all about the history of Edinburgh and The Royal Mile. It was also a good length tour. Would highly recommend.
Hello. We are so glad you enjoyed your time with us. We hope you continued to have a great time in Edinburgh.
Too long and a bit boring to be honest. And it's a long time on your feet. Done other tours before and they felt more
Hello. We are really sorry you did not enjoy your tour and would love to hear more about why you did not enjoy the tour. Could you let us know what date and time your tour was and the guide? We would also love to hear what specifically you did not like. We are a new company and always looking to improve. I look forward to hearing from you.
Brilliant tour Knowledgeable guide, great experience and value for money. Highly recommend!
Thank you so much, glad to hear you enjoyed your tour.
Our guide, Tony, took us on a "private" tour because the three of us were the only ones that had booked the tour that day. This was great because it was easy to navigate through the crowds of the beginning Fringe festival, and we could stand close to him, so that we could hear loud and clear what he was saying (English not being our mother tongue...). Tony told us many interesting facts and stories about things that had happened throughout the centuries. He is an excellent storyteller with a great speaking voice and he's got a good sense of humour. You can feel that he's very passionate about the city and that he wants to share his knowledge with others. We recommend this tour 100%. We will be back for more sometime in the future :-).
Thank you so much for joining us. We are glad to hear you had a great time and hope that next time you visit, you will check out some of our upcoming experiences.
Was familiar with Tony from his regular Instagram posting and the tours are just as friendly and informative. But, like, you're actually there on the streets with him, so it's even better. The tour size wasn't too big, so there was real connection and we didn't feel like numbers in a crowd. One of the few tours in the old town that I'd recommend.
Hello. Thank you so much for coming, and we are so glad you enjoyed your tour. We will pass on your kind words to Tony as well. I'm sure he will be glad to hear you enjoyed your time with us.
Decided to be a tourist in my own city and booked this tour. Learnt so much about buildings I walk past everyday! Tour guide was friendly and held the attention of everyone on the tour. So glad I booked.
Thank you so much for joining us on a tour, and we hope you enjoyed exploring your home town.
Emma was our tour guide and she was fantastic! The royal mile is big, busy, and there’s lots to see. Having a guide really helps you focus on some cool history and stopping points. Thanks Emma for making it so interesting!
Thank you so much for joining us for a tour. We are so glad you enjoyed your tour and hope to see you on one of our other experiences in the future.
Fantastic, highly recommended. Born and raised in Edinburgh living in Canada for 20 years. Johnny & Jack were our guides and brought the old town to life.
So glad you enjoyed your tour. Jack and Johnny are great, and we will pass on your kind words.
The link in the email took us to the wrong place (the head office), but thankfully we were able to track down an EE worker who showed us the right place, where emma was patiently waiting. The tour was varied and lively. Thank you for the experience!
So glad you enjoyed your tour, and thank you for pointing out the issue with the starting point of the tour. We shall fix that right away. We will also pass on your kind words to Emma.
We attended the Heart of the Royal Mile tour again while family were visiting Edinburgh because we knew they'd love it—and it didn't disappoint! Tony is a fantastic guide: friendly, knowledgeable and full of fascinating stories that bring Edinburgh's history to life. The 90 minutes flew by, making it excellent value for money. The atmosphere was relaxed and engaging, and despite the busy Royal Mile, Tony made sure everyone could hear and enjoy the experience. This is one of the best walking tours in Edinburgh and a brilliant way to discover the Royal Mile, Edinburgh's Old Town and its hidden gems. Perfect for first-time visitors, families and anyone wanting to learn more about the city's history. We'd happily recommend Experience Edinburgh to anyone looking for a memorable guided walking tour.
Thank you for returning to us for a 2nd time. We are so glad you enjoyed the tour and brought your family.
