This is a self guided tour. The road around the peninsula is busy and there are tunnels with lots of traffic. Experienced riders should only do this tour. A stop at the airport is a ,use especially when a plane is landing or taking off.
Great company and a great experience! We’re not particularly good cyclists so we were a little unsure how we would fare on the steep hills of Gibraltar. Stuart and the team were great. We had a fantastic day touring and, with the electric bikes, we didn’t have trouble at all with the hills. 4 hours is a perfect amount of time to hit all the major stuff, but could certainly add or subtract an hour depending on your interests.
It was a fantastic experience, and renting the e-bikes from E-bike Rent Gibraltar made it truly unforgettable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Great bikes and excellent value for money! Good job to the staff!
We rented the e-bikes and explored Gibraltar and the rock on our own. It was a really great experience; we were able to cover all the highlights on the rock and easily passed by all the hikers and taxi tours. Stuart was very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely recommend the tour.
5 star review, such fun and the owner was super helpful and available on the end of the phone if required. It was a fantastic way to experience Gibraltar at your own pace. The map was very easy to navigate and we made it to the top of the rock too!!!
Seamless end to end experience, super responsive to WhatsApp messages, easy to book and reserve and the team were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids who are 2 and 13), we hired 3 e-bikes; one of which had a child seat attached to the back for our 2 year old. She absolutely loved it, as did we. The e-bikes are a brilliant way to enjoy Gibraltar without killing yourself on the steep inclines. The bikes were well maintained and performed flawlessly. We considered the taxi tours but after seeing them queued up on the rock with little flexibility for the passengers, we were so glad we opted for the bikes. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company.
many thanks for your review Adam, with best wishes, Stuart
If you want to get an overview of Gibraltar this is the best way to do it with adult children . Excellent organisation!
Bikes were a great way to explore Gibraltar, the electric peddle assist made getting up to the attractions at the top of the Rock much easier. The bikes were in great condition, and typical city electric bikes which are a great match for the type of riding, all the equipment was provided and the member of staff that got us set up and going was great with providing maps and hints to make sure we got the best out of our trip out on the bikes
We did the ride around the back side of the Rock, up to the top, and down into town. It took us about 6 hours because we like to stop and learn, and could easily have been all day. Very friendly staff made it a great day! If you think Gibraltar is “just a rock” like I did, grab a bike and learn the real story! (I am not Norma…that is my mother in law and Viator will not let me change it from a booking last year!)
so pleased you enjoyed and many thanks for taking the time to review. best wishes and safe travels, Stuart
Stuart and his E bikes are top-notch!! These e-bikes are a great way to explore the city. They include a self-guided map in an app that you’ll need to download before your ride. I did have some trouble staying connected while biking and eventually lost access to the guided tour map, so I ended up switching to Google Maps. One fair warning: if you’re planning to ride the e-bike up to the top of the Rock, be prepared for a bit of a challenge. The climb is fairly steep and can still be tough even with the assistance of the e-bike. Overall, my sister and I completed the tour of the Rock. We had fun , along with an excellent workout!! :-)
