We had a wonderful time. I was a little scared of the E-bike but as soon as you start it was easy to pick up. Daniel and Sean were a big help.
Hi Lisa, We are glad to hear you enjoyed your day with Sean and Dan. The extra power of the ebikes does take a minute to get used to, but we find there is no going back once you see how easy and fun ebike touring can be.
Sam was absolutely amazing! She was very knowledgeable and made the excursion so memorable. We saw a bear on the bike ride, which was awesome. The hike to Johnston Canyon was breathtaking. Would highly recommend this trip!!!
Hi Teresa, thank you for your review and your recommendation. We agree Sam is amazing :) Glad to hear Sam helped make your experience that much better.
We lucked out on the weather that made this easy bike, walk and pause for views even more enjoyable. The guys were great, this particular trip is done with ease on the riding and s little trek through the forest. Good fun and worth having a go. 🙂
Thank you for your review! We are glad you enjoyed your trip with us. Weather has been unsettled so far in June, so glad to hear everything worked out :)
Great ride. Saw big horn sheep, elk and a bear! Guides were awesome. The canyon was a great experience. Our family of 5 (me, wife and 3 adult children) enjoyed it.
Thank you for your review! We appreciate your recommendation, and are happy to hear your enjoyed your afternoon with our guides.
Fantastic tour, the bikes were very comfortable and easy to ride. Saw lots of wildlife, highly recommend to do this tour when parkway is closed to traffic. Our guide Scott was great. Would be even better if there was an option to ride both ways as it was we rode one direction then shuttle back. Small group of 6 which was great.
Thank you for your review! We will let Scott know you appreciate him (we do, too). Our public tour features a one-way van shuttle to either bring you back to Banff from Johnston Canyon, or to shuttle out to the canyon and then ebike back to Banff. We find most folks are happy riding just one way, as 3+hours in the saddle can be a lot if you aren't used to biking for long periods of time. We do offer the out-and-back on a private guide service if you are interested for next time.
Our trip was amazing! It even poured freezing rain and were soaked but it was still the most incredible experience. Our guide was fantastic! We had a small group and it was so nice bonding with the other people.
Hi Meg, thank you for your review! We make sure to stock each bike with a rain poncho and gloves in case we do get caught out in the rain - which does happen on occasion during the 30km ride. We are glad to hear your enjoyed the tour, and that you have great memories of your trip to Banff to take home with you.
Really great activity to do! We were first timers on E bikes and our guide Scott, ensured that everyone in the group felt comfortable with using the bike. Bikes are easy to use and the back pouch is equipped with a rain poncho, gloves, hi vis belt and a bottle of water - all you would need. Scott was a great guide, stopping along the way to talk about the landscape, formation of key features and animals. We were lucky enough to encounter gophers, deer, elk and even a bear - but of course sightings can never be guaranteed. The afternoon passed by quickly and although the canyon was busy, Scott still took the time to talk to us about key features and point out fossils. Would absolutely recommend this activity.
Thank you for your review! eBikes are my favourite way to tour the park in summer. Sounds like you had a perfect afternoon. We are happy to hear how much you appreciated Scott's attention in helping to make sure you had the best experience.
Great guides and an amazing trip. One of the best bike tours I have ever done! Scenery was incredible and both guides were very knowledgeable!
Hi Steve, Thank you for your review! We are glad you enjoyed your day with us, and that you appreciated the extra your guides brought to your experience.
This was a super fun adventure. Tour guides were very knowledgeable & fun. Beautiful sights - especially seeing a bear!
Hi Cindy, glad to hear you enjoyed your day with us on the ebikes. With the Bow Valley Parkway closed to vehicles each May and September, this is the best time to see wildlife near the roadway (from a safe distance, of course).
We had a great morning out, starting with a quick trip out to Johnston Canyon for a comfortable hike to the lower falls. We then rode our e-bikes back to Banff on a glorious spring morning. The bikes have complimentary water and even gloves if your hands get cold. Our guides. Sam and Gil were friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. We stopped regularly for photo opportunities and to learn about sites along the way. We were even lucky enough to see a black bear along the track back.
Hi Peter, Thank you for your review! We are happy to hear Sam and Gill helped to make your tour that much more special. We love touring the parks by ebike as you get to see and experience so much more than you would on a bus. We hope you can join us again on another adventure here in Banff.
