Enjoyable day out exploring the city with friends, informative mixing history and fun. Not too long and allows for as many stops as you want .
Thank you for your lovely review! 😊 Great to hear you had an enjoyable day exploring the city with friends. We’re glad you liked the mix of history and fun, and that the pace allowed you to take breaks whenever you wanted. Hope to see you again on another trail soon 🎉
The game is great. To do with the family. The explanations are clear. However the geo-location is not always very accurate (you are in front of the building and the points to get are not given because for it there is a greater distance). Only downside, it would be good to indicate the distance to travel. For Avignon we made the game trying to make the loop indicated... result 12km.
A fun and educational way to explore the city of Avignon. Unfortunately, the Jardin des Doms park is closed for maintenance and is not indicated on your site. 175 steps back and 175 steps back. Nevertheless, a nice view of the city.
Walked the treasure hunt with a friend. Yet 4 stars, despite the warmth and constant loss of internet. 'Cause we had a good day anyway. We did feel that there was some more information to be given about the different sights. At least we expected some more info. Didn't quite finish the scavenger hunt, because we were tired of the heat and again had no service and therefore went wrong. But would definitely do it again with a group of friends...seems very nice!
Avignon is a beautiful old town with many monuments but also plenty of terraces. Very nice for an escape tour. Unfortunately, there are many vagrants who negatively affect the atmosphere of the city. The park was under maintenance so we could not reach 2 posts but had to climb 350 steps!
Was hoping to use this as a “self guided” tour and get some useful information and history. Game/app did not work well for me. Better off doing something on your own, u less you’re really into the scavenger hunt part
The city trip was very nice. Fun and challenging questions. You come to beautiful places and you see unknown places in Avignon where you would not go yourself. Definitely recommended!
This self-guided walking tour was a great way to explore the charming city of Avignon. My son and I walked down streets we likely never would have encountered on our own. Even in the extreme heat of August, we managed to enjoy ourselves. I found the website a little glitchy. Every time I used a different function on my phone (camera, etc) the website disappeared. I panicked at first, thinking we lost all progress. Once I logged back in, it was fine. Unfortunately, I had to log back in 4 times over the course of the tour. This could have been a problem with my phone, but I note it because it was the sole detractor from this activity. We enjoyed it and would do another of the City Scavenger hunts again in the future in a new place.
Thanks for the review Savas. It is verry nice to know that you explored Avignon in a great way.
It was a very nice interactive game to get to know the city and see all the city highlights. We enjoyed it very much and we became all very compatitive to get the best score. The only downside was the very hot weather, which wasn’t the perfect timing. But the game itself is a big recommend!
Terrible experience. Game is too complicated to setup, translations in the forms make no sense, and it does not work well with iPhones (bad GPS). It would be so easy to put the game in a simple app… Asked for a refund 15 minutes after buying, without even starting the game, but it was refused by Viator. I feel scammed and will delete Tripadvisor app from my phone. Avoid. Unless you speak Dutch and have a lot of patience.
August 12, 634 people played this game. Only you found it is too complicated. A Helpdesk employee was available, you could have asked them for help. You requested a refund within only 15 (!) minutes after your purchase. So you have hardly tried to make it work.
