The dunes of Maspalomas are the true treasure of Gran Canaria, which is about 7 kilometres of golden Sand Mountains declared a special nature reserve and is protected by the Canary Islands Government.

"La Charca" is a beautiful lagoon bordering the famous dunes of Maspalomas. This lagoon is considered the most important natural area of the special nature reserve as it is rich in fish and about 40 different types of migratory birds live in different seasons of the year. This ancient archaeological site is located right on the Meloneras promenade. Visiting this amazing archaeological site will give you the opportunity to see the ancient circular stone houses where the Guanches lived, the primitive civilization lived in the Canary islands in the pre-hispanic era.
The lighthouse of Maspalomas is the souther most point of the island of Gran Canaria and has been declared by the Canary Government monument of historical interest. You will see the Ligthouse by outside.

Great tour, lots of little secrets about the island, tailored to individual requirements. Guide was brilliant!
Met in shopping centre and Lorenzo was so helpful checking the bikes fitted and we had everything we needed. Only 5 of us on tour and it was superb. Regular stops to explain the important views, landscape, take pics and check all good. The lagoon and lighthouse at Melonaras was my favourite part of tour but saw the dunes, monuments and some of the countryside too. I can highly recommend this EBike tour. 5 stars*****
This was a different way to see the great expanse of dunes and lighthouse. Lorenzo, our guide was brilliant and very knowledgeable. We also visited the botanic gardens where Lorenzo knew a lot about the plants. The bikes were easy to ride and would certainly recommend the trip.

We had a great tour with Lorenzo. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife and habitat as well as architecture and history. The bikes were easy to ride and well maintained, we felt very safe on the roads. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Brilliant tour and great fun. On this particular day my wife and I were the only couple to book but, the proprietor Lorenzo and his assistant Mirku still took us out and we had a brilliant time. The bikes were sturdy, well maintained and on the road they were easy to ride, felt safe and had a tremendous amount of power if needed. The tour followed an easy and interesting route and the guides were free with their knowledge just giving the right amount of information. The stop for tapas was in a beautiful location, the food was tasty and generous and the sunset amazing. The ride back was at a quicker pace along a green cycle track and was exhilarating. We thoroughly recommend the tour and thought it was good value for money. Would certainly use Bici Bike Vintage services again if in the area.
