DRINK&FOOD: Private Vineyard and Winery Tour with Tasting

I don't know where to start because it was all very engaging; I've been to other tastings but at Bocale they were wonderful. Valentino is an engaging and passionate guy who accompanied us in the history of his land along various stages both historical and his family, all explaining ways and reasons why they grow wines in natural vineyards. transpires from his stories all the love for this job and the desire to put their nose outside Europe that has rewarded them by being chosen in countries like China, America and even South America continuing to be the chosen destination for his expeditions. The process fascinates and the tasting that follows confirms. all accompanied by excellent cutting boards and hot bruschetta with the extra virgin olive oil they produce. Really a 5 star choice that I will definitely recommend!!!

Valentino is a competent person and an excellent winemaker. It was a memorable experience, the passion he puts into his work is exemplary. Their wine is not afraid of comparison with the most famous labels, proving to be an authentic pearl. The cutting board that we were served was accompanied by splendid bruschetta seasoned with the oil of their production. An experience to be redone.

I can't say enough good things about this experience. As I was the only person, I had a private tour with one of the family owners - Valentino who spoke excellent English. His passion for wine making and farming shined through with every part of the winery. Even his father was delightful as we stumbled our way through a conversation teaching each other English and Italian while I sipped on some wine. :) Valentino said people come here strangers and leave friends. I cannot agree more!!!

Fantastic vineyard in the middle of the vast Umbria hills. We were welcomed with open arms and learned a lot about the history of the place as well as interesting facts about the wine of Bocale. They are currently finalizing the new facilities, where despite the hot day we were able to taste the local wine and delicacy in the lee (even tomato and zucchini from our own garden because one of us had indicated that we were vegetarian). Thus a very involved and open family who gave us a nice experience.

It is a family vineyard in which a very nice owner explains the process of wine creation from grapes to bottle, at the end tasting a board of cheese and cold cuts, we tried 4 types of local wine and olive oil. We highly recommend this place :)

A working farm for generations. We enjoyed our guide through the vineyards, then beautiful wine, tasty olive oil and bruschetta. Time well spent
