We liked the tour but the app crashed a few times and would stop and not restart at others, so that part was annoying
This is a great way to get to know Downtown Victoria, BC at your own pace. Pop in your earbuds and follow along. Stop along the way to shop or grab a bite, put the app on pause and resume when you are ready. Definitely some interesting places you may not find on your own and a history lesson included!
I could not get it to work. I kept hitting start but nothing would happen. So I closed out to try again but then had to re-enter the code. It still wouldn’t work
Hi there, I'm sorry that you were unhappy with your experience. When you were having technical difficulties, did you contact VoiceMap support via email or telephone? We are contactable by both telephone and email, so if you have technical difficulties, please reach out to us so we can identify what is going wrong. Again, I'm sorry about the poor experience you had. Best, Helene
There were too many people to finish the tour, but we enjoyed what of it we were able to do. We learned a lot. The sound track was not quite loud enough when walking through noisy crowds.
Great to help navigate and learn about the history while on short stop during our cruise at night when all the establishments were closed.
This walking tour was great!! We really enjoyed it. NOTE: you must download the VoiceMap app/ set up account there for this to work. We almost gave up on the audio tour all together but then I tried clicking on the “contact tour operator” box and then all the info that explained about needing to use the app was as clearly laid out there.
We were never able to get it to work. We gave up and did not use it. It was a waste of money. The direction did not match what it showed on the screen.
Hi there, I'm sorry that you were unhappy with your experience. Can you email more information to support@voicemap.me? This way, we can identify exactly what went wrong. We can troubleshoot the issue and process a refund if you email us your details. I'm sorry for your frustrating experience. Regards, Brent
The commentary and instructions were great. It even identifies when you get a bit lost. Found that out when I deliberately went off track.
Downtown Victoria is beautiful. It is definitely worth seeing. We did a self guided walking tour so we were able to spend the time that we wanted at each place. All of the architecture is stunning and the people that we encountered were very pleasant as well. If you are in the Pacific North West you should definitely try to see Victoria.
The pace was excellent and the narration easy to follow. The app was very handy. Such a lovely way to get to know Victoria. Highly recommend!
