What a spectacular day!

Super day out with the team. Saw over 16 humpback whales on our day out! Extremely lucky. The team were full of information and happy to answer any questions. Highly recommend.

A great whale watching adventure

We thoroughly enjoyed our half-day whale watch. The crew was knowledgeable and friendly, and we saw orcas and humpbacks aplenty. We learned a lot and had a beautiful time out on the water. Thanks to Captain Rod, Carole, Jo Jo, Liam, and Derek for a wonderful experience!

Semi Covered Boat Tour

Amazing from start to finish! Check in process at Fisherman’s Wharf was super easy and I appreciated the briefing prior to getting on the boat about what we would be doing, what we might see and the safety information. On the boat there was plenty of spaces inside to watch the action and warm up and outside to get front row views of the whales. The boat was nice, clean, and the bathrooms were good. We had Derek, Lili & Caio telling us stories and facts about what we were seeing- they were fun to listen to and made sure everyone had an opportunity to view the whales. We were lucky in this day to see two families of orca’s and two huge males visiting from Alaska. As the boat made its way back to harbor the crew showed us how they identify the whales and some more information about them. Captain Rod did an incredible job of placing the boat in the perfect positions to see the whales when they surfaced (from a safe distance). My entire trip to Victoria was about seeing orca’s and Eagle Wing delivered that! Thank you!!

A fabulous experience

A fabulous, bucket list experience with Sam, Carol and Caio who shared their expertise and passion for the wildlife and environment and made it all fun. We saw humpbacks and bald eagles. If you have the opportunity to book this you really should!

Our experience

This was our second whale watching cruise and it was great. The cruise was just the right length. We were able to see many whales and other animals. The instructors were well versed in their subject and shared their knowledge with us. The boat looked well maintained and newly painted. So overall if you are in victoria take this cruise.

Loved Half-Day Whale Watching Semi-Covered Boat

We did an afternoon Half-Day Whale Watching Semi-Covered Boat tour. It was amazing! The boat options were great- lots of space to be indoors watching and warming up or outside wind in the hair searching for wildlife. The boat was clean and the bathrooms were good. The guides were very knowledgeable and fun to listen to. We had Derek, Lili and Caio and they made sure everyone stayed safe but had a good place to view and lots of stories and facts about what we were seeing. We were lucky enough to see 2 families of orcas and 2 single humongous males. Somehow our captain Rod was always in the PERFECT place to see them when they surfaced. Seeing orcas was on my bucket list and Eagle Wing made it come true! At the end of the tour the guides showed us how they identified the whales we saw and gave some more information about the individuals. I loved it all plus they’re a Canadian family owned business!

Operator response

Thank you! What a way to check orcas off your bucket list out on the Salish Sea! We're so glad our captain kept finding those perfect spots and that the guides shared how they identify each whale. We're so lucky to have such an incredible and passionate team. It means a lot to have your support for our Canadian family-owned business, and we'd love to welcome you aboard again. All the best, Tianda

1/2 day whale watching with cover

We have a great time! I am so thankful they took extra time for us to go a bit further and see the Orcas. We had a great crew, and was very thankful for the chance to be under the cover for some of it - I even used a toque and I thought we came well prepared for cold wind!

Operator response

Thank you! We're so glad the crew went the extra distance to see those orcas, it's always worth it out on the Salish Sea! Sounds like you came well prepared for the wind, and the cover is such a nice option on a chilly day. We'd love to welcome you aboard again. All the best, Tianda
