What a wonderful way to learn about the history of the heart of Los Angeles and its art scene, it was both entertaining and informative!
Chris was an incredible guide—knowledgeable, genuine, and truly passionate about the museum and its architecture. He brought everything to life with fascinating insights and a warm, engaging style. Highly recommend!
We explored MOCA’s contemporary art, visited The Broad including Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Mirror Room, and saw architectural icons like Walt Disney Concert Hall and Angels Flight. The pace was perfect and we never felt rushed. Our guide was excellent — knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about art and LA history. Their insights made the tour much more engaging and memorable. Highly recommend for anyone who loves art and culture.
Art, Art & more wonderful and experiential Art with a side of history & culture! Sam will remind you of my cousin, Robert!
Tour of the Arts district of DTLA - You’ll meet outside of the Ahmanson, Mark Taper around, and Dororthy Chandeler (you don’t get to see inside of these buildings sadly), get a peek inside but mostly the views outside of the Disney Music Hall (lots of walking and stairs), then some hidden views around by the shortest tram and the grounds by the MOCA and new Music/Dance School (pretty cool), Then off to the Broad which was pretty impressive with a lot to see. The Tour guide is amazing and has a lot of knowledge of the area and will take his time with you as needed for the group to explain anything. Highly recommend. Wear your walking shoes!!
Sam was great! The tour offers a nice combination of sightseeing and museum access. Worth it if you are looking to make the most of your time. If you choose the later your be aware of what time The Broad closes. If you want to spend more time there after the tour ends maybe book the earlier tour.
Our guide Angelica is very professional and knowledgeable. Both of my husband and I learnt a lot about LA architecture and art. She also gave us a broad overview of the city and people. Strongly recommend this short walking tour .
Parking is easy right below the venue meeting place in an underground parking garage that is only $10 a day.
awesome time on this walking tour! group was small, and made it feel really personal. Our guide Paul was super knowledgeable and easygoing. Learned way more than expected and got to see some hidden spots around LA near the concert halls. best part was the balance, it was guided but still had room to explore on our own and we got to check out some cool museums and a gallery, before the guide dropped us off so we could keep the adventure going at the BROAD. Everything was well-planned, fun and a great way to experience the city - 10/10 definitely recommend :] Also shout out to D-Town Burger Bar <3
Good weather, small group, extremely well-informed and engaging guide, Angelica, who showed us a lot that even frequent visitors and LA natives never see, though most of that we saw is open to the public.
Thank you so much for the kinds words! Angelica is an excellent guide and I'm so glad to you enjoyed our tour. Come back again for more! Best, Dara
