Rain definitely didn't help this tour at all. I was in touch with the company to rebook for the next day but they said it was fine. Trip should've been re booked. Trip wasn't worth what I paid.
The highlight of my trip! I felt so welcomed in Taino Valley and I loved learning about the Taino culture, the flora, and the food. They advised us that the creek might be too cold and they offered to change things up for us and take us into the city for a mini tour. The tour in Taino Valley itself is all up and down hills, so wear shoes with a good grip. We definitely earned our lunch! There’s a beautiful lookout point on the property where you can view the mountains. And the banana they offered was just picked off a tree that morning. Just perfect. Casa Antigua’s food was delicious - (almost) as good as my friend’s mom’s cooking. We had the place to ourselves. You know it’s good when even though the gate is closed, locals kept trying to place orders! Enrique was an awesome tour guide, and he kept us entertained throughout the trip. And thank you Arien and your whole team!
