Itinerary
Remote-controlled, toddler-sized robot jockeys, clothed in colourful racing silks delight locals and tourists, as they ride the lanky mammals across the sandy track. Racing camels can run at speeds of up to 40 mph in short sprints and may continue at 30 mph for as long as an hour. The operator applies the whip antenna, commands the jockey to pull on the reins, and shouts encouragement to the camel via a built-in speaker.
The crumbling ruins of Zekreet Fort appear to be ancient, but the site was built only 200 years ago, perhaps by the pirate leader, Raḥmah ibn Jābir al-Jalāhimah. It was used for just a decade or two. Visit Zekreet Fort to see how Qatar’s sun, sand, winds and occasional rains have reduced the structure to an outline of the former fortification. Walk around the fort’s typical square shape. Note its corner towers including three circular in shape and one square.
THIS BREATHTAKING SCULPTURE IN THE BROUQ NATURE RESERVE SPANS OVER A KILOMETRE AND COMPRISES FOUR STEEL PLATES, EACH OVER FOURTEEN METRES IN HEIGHT. TO GUARANTEE PERFECT ALIGNMENT, SERRA EXAMINED THE TOPOGRAPHY OF THE LAND AND BEAUTIFULLY ENHANCED THE VAST, DESOLATE SPACE IN THE HEART OF THE DESERT. THE RESULT IS SPECTACULAR AND ALTHOUGH MODERN, TIMELESS.

The tour was great. A lot of beautiful places to see. I highly recommend it. Zia was an amazing tour guide. Super nice and helpful.
Thanks for the tour Rizwan Uddin and for your kindness. I recommend this tour :)
The tour lasted about 4 hours, with searching the hotel we were in. The guide Rizwan was extremely polite, requested and provided all the necessary information.
Amazing experience! The rock formations are gorgeous. It is a different side of Qaatar worth exploring! If you decide to go, ask to go with Rehan! Amazing driver and guide!
Our guide was very knowledgeable and kindly answered to all my questions! (Tons of!) and the tour was very punctual. Mushroom rocks were so beautiful, recommend to climb up to the top! Thank you!
Fantastic tour! The scenery is stunning, and Rehan is a good guide—friendly and professional. I had a wonderful time exploring the rocks and sculpture! Highly recommended.
It was a very pleasant experience with Rehan to the camel racetrack, sand sculptures... The explanations were very good and interesting. Finally, a sweet milk spice tea! Fine!
I went to the west coast of Qatar. We looked around at natural strange rocks, robots practicing camel racing, modern art and beaches. The guide is very attentive 👍. My guide told me that the Japanese only smile and say yes. It's better to say clearly what's wrong or what you don't like.
This was a very interesting tour and a good way to see parts of Qatar beyond the city of Doha. We had a small group (myself, the driver, and two others) so were able to have some conversation and listen to music to pass the time to the drive out west and back. The desert is really beautiful in its starkness - such a contrast to Doha and well worth the visit! Rehan was also an excellent guide - he quite literally took me by the hand to make sure that I could explore the rock formations safely. The trip was as-promised around four hours round-trip, including a quick stop for karak chai. If you're looking to get out of the city, I highly recommend this tour.
We had a very nice trip to the west coast of Qatar. The tourguide Rehan made it a nice experience, explaining everything and taking pictures of us. We recommend seeing this part of Qatar. 👍🏻 👍🏻
