We had a wonderful day tour with Nasir. It was a perfect showaround for the first day of our one-week stay in Doha/Qatar so we got a good overview on where to eat and where to go later during our stay. I would recommend that to all travellers who visit Qatar for the first time and have a rental car.
Hi Mark, Thanks so much for the recommendation! I’m really glad the tour worked well as a first-day overview and helped you get your bearings for the rest of your week in Doha. Hope you had a great rest of your stay in Qatar and got to revisit a few of the spots we talked about. Nasir
The guide was excellent. He knows the city extremely well. He managed the time well and completely covered the city. His English is excellent.
Hi Ron, It was great showing you around Doha on your layover! Glad we could fit in the highlights before your flight—hope Africa was amazing as well! Kind regards, Nasir
This was an enjoyable tour that took us to some less tourist areas in Dohar. We were picked up from the Souq Waqif on time and we had lots of photo stops along the way during the tour. Nasir was fun and informative and explained a lot of the cutural points in the Katara Village and also the history and significance of the various parts of the city and the future plans. I liked this tour as many other tours focus on the major Dohar attractions which you can do yourself.
Nasir took his time to be my personal guide. I was the only person booked, while a larger tour company would have cancelled Nasir did not and tailored the trip around my preferences. As I booked because I wanted to see everything on the tour (katara culture Village, the pearl and mosque) we stayed mainly to the route with a few added things (visit to a food truck) Nasir giving tips on places to see and eat at and his expertise in architecture added to the experience.. I recommend the trip 100% and sorry I can not do the food tour as I'm sure its just as good.
I travel to Doha regularly for work and I have been to the major sites by myself already. With this tour, I got to see parts of Doha that I hadn’t been to before or had not spent much time around. The highlights for me were driving through the new park at Katara, riding the water taxi at the Pearl, and visiting the Mosque. This is a new tour provided by Nasir and I was the first person to take it. I enjoyed the personal attention and he pre-arranged visiting the park at Katara and the mosque just for me. He also does a food tasting tour of the Pearl.
