We took this tour with...

We took this tour with Jose in the afternoon. It was just my son and I and only one other person on the tour. Jose was knowledgeable, welcoming, and made us feel safe also. I will say you should account for much more time than 4 hours of your day, there is a lot of travel to and from and some backroads to get to the cenotes. We had a great time and this was our favorite activity from the trip!

Good guide bad logistics

Our guide Eddie was 10/10! He was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable. The cenotes he picked for us were very beautiful. On the other hand the logistics of the tour was very poor. It took hours for us to start the tour and hours to get back to the hotel. It seemed as if they didn’t had the logistics planned and were just making them up as they go. We were never offered water either. They also changed us from vans several times, it was a bit annoying. The only good thing about this tour was the guide.

2 Cenotes Tour

Paid for a 3 Cenote tour but only completed 2 due to time running out. The agency needs to reduce the price or rename this. Also, better communication needs to be established with the transport for live updates. My pick up was scheduled at 715 but did not arrive until 755. The agency just kept thanking me for my patience and advised they were arriving. The tour was amazing though. Sara was extremely knowledgeable and passionate with providing a great experience.

The beauty of this place is truly amazing, I was enchanted, great for recording content if you want to keep a permanent memory, but the best thing is to enjoy the experience.

Top 5 experience

The destination has a bunch of other activities like zip lining and atv riding. We chose only cenotes and ended up being a private our with Sara. She was fantastic and was really passionate about the cenotes and cared for their environment. The covered cenote was probably a top 5 experience in my life.

Best tour guide but..

Sara, was an amazing tour guide and best in business. Her perfect English and spanish skills, in depth knowledge and passion for cenotes and geological mayan history were truly impressive. The only knock for 1 star is for the undisclosed fee of an additional $39pp charged in the van. It comes to $78pp with a light lunch after tour. We enjoyed it.

Dip in cenotes

My children and grandchildren came from the USA and we decided to take this tour, and even though I am 66 years old, I was able to enjoy the experience of the cenotes; Even though I don't know how to swim, it wasn't necessary because there are life jackets in the cenotes and they are mandatory. All the cenotes are wonderful and the people are very friendly.
