Perfect for beginners, families, and friends, this tour is just a 30–40 minute boat ride from Naha and is available during the summer season only. We got a late start. Very pretty area. Boat was crowded and noisy. I was really disappointed that we couldn’t snorkel without life jackets on, it was uncomfortable and limiting. I would not have booked this trip if I had known. Also, there were a ton of people and a limited area to snorkel so it was like swimming in people soup. The staff were helpful and friendly.
Unfortunately, our first attempt to the Kerama Islands had to be aborted due to an earthquake in the Phillipines and a tsunami warning. All was ok and we returned the next day and all went as expected despite imperfect rainy weather and choppy ocean conditions. Crew was awesome and we had a great time!
This crew was incredible and made our experience very memorable AND went above and beyond when I lost a very important ring and they FOUND IT IN A DARK CORAL BAY! Seriously amazing. A story I will tell for years.
Had a great time on the snorkel experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they definitely made it a special time. They took photos of us while snorkelling and we were even lucky enough to see a sea turtle.
Nice trip but should have chosen a full day trip. The boat transport was too long, only time for one spot for snorkeling. Beautiful spot with colorful corals and fish. Nice personnel on the boat with high security. If you have US size 11 or above you should bring your own Swim fins because the included were too small.
This tour was great and well organised. We saw many turtles and lots of fish. Only negative was that it was a speedboat and not a catamaran as advertised. Staff, equipment and safety were excellent. Would definately recommend.
Good experience to watch some marine life for a first time snorkeling adventure. The crew was very attentive and very helpful with an unfortunate incident I had (nothing's serious). I just wished we could have visited more locations.
Thank you for this postive review, Yes unfortunatly in an Half day trip there is no time to visite different places. But you could try our full day trip.
We had an excellent time, half day was the right amount of time for snorkeling in our area. Our guide we're great, they made instructions very clear.
The water is transparent and beautiful, the tour staff is excellent, but the place we stopped there were no fish. It wasn't worth it!
Took my Brother in law and his family on this trip. His two daughters, 9 and 11, had a blast. They were born on Okinawa, but never gone to Keramas before.
