Upon arrival, a DEMA tourist information officer will listen to your interests and consider how much time you have available, recommending what to see and how to organize your day in the best possible way. You will receive a free map of Genoa featuring monuments, panoramic viewpoints, museums, attractions, and a selection of local activities and experiences. You will also receive access to an audio guide available in five languages: Italian, English, French, Spanish, and German. You can follow the suggested itinerary on your smartphone, stopping wherever you wish and exploring the city at your own pace. The initial welcome and personalized assistance are reserved exclusively for each individual booking.

Itinerary
One of Genoa's most charming medieval squares, closely associated with the powerful Doria family and distinguished by its elegant black-and-white striped façades.
The monumental heart of Genoa, famous for its impressive fountain and surrounded by some of the city's most important landmarks, including Palazzo Ducale, the Carlo Felice Opera House, and the Liguria Regional Government Palace.
The itinerary then continues to the House of Christopher Columbus and Porta Soprana, one of the city's ancient gateways and a lasting symbol of medieval Genoa.
One of the main highlights of the tour is the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, instantly recognizable by its striking black-and-white marble façade. The audio guide reveals the cathedral's history, its fascinating legends, and the treasures preserved within.
The route continues through the narrow streets of Genoa's historic center to the Old Port, a beautifully redeveloped waterfront area that is home to the Aquarium of Genoa, the Bigo panoramic lift, the Galata Maritime Museum, and many other attractions. Just a short walk away stands Palazzo San Giorgio, one of the city's most important historic landmarks.
