Description
"Discover Bulgaria with dance" is the only workshop in Sofia that gives tourist the opportunity to explore the culture of Bulgaria with the art of dance. You will have the chance to learn a folklore dance and taste a traditional meal. At the same time our instructors will give you interesting trivial information and insights on the customs of the region. To top it off, you will take a photo in a traditional dance costume(garb).

The instructor was a very good teacher. She made it easy to learn and was very patient while we learned the dances and made pictures and videos with the traditional outfits. It’s easy to see that she loves sharing her culture.

It was a really fun experience. The teacher explained the different dances very well and we learned a lot, I wish the activity had lasted longer and learn more steps. Highly recommended if you like music and dancing.

We never made it, spent 45 minutes trying to locate the venue on Alabin only to eventually finding out (from Costa Coffe employee) that it was around the corner OFF Alabin. By the time we found it we were over 20 minutes late! You need to provide better directions for future purchasers. Would have loved to have done it...oh well..money down the pan.
Dear Roger, we're sorry that you can't find us, it was the first time with problem like that! We wrote you at 4pm, when is the starting hour of activity, but you didn't respond. Although that our couleague was there and you didn't show untill 4.30. We tried to make a refund but it will affect our cancelation rate, which is very important for us and we don't feel guilty about the case! We're sorry that you are disappointed!
We loved this hour of dancing. It was beautifully run with rest time between energetic dances, for photo opportunities dressed in traditional costumes. I would recommend this highly to anyone who enjoys dancing. Thank you Daisy

We liked the experience of learning to dance with the teacher, she was very pedagogical and allowed us to put on the traditional outfits (very pretty). It was a great way to discover more about Bulgarian culture and its traditions.

A very fun time with a dedicated dancing trainer. She is a tip top teacher and we felt warmly welcomed :)
Very well made and frankly somewhat fancy dance costumes we got to try on while dancing. We also learned three types of folk dances from three different regions. (how much you get to dance in the lesson depends on the learning speed of the group) Overall it was a wonderful cultural experience. Teacher was very nice and very encouraging. Thank you!
