Discover Adelaide on both land and water. With our 2 hour walking tour and a 45 minute river cruise run by Popeye River Cruises you will make the most of your time in Adelaide. Start with our relaxed, informative, and fun walking tour which provides a great introduction to this captivating city. We will leisurely stroll past the highlights of Central Adelaide and hear compelling narratives of Adelaide's colourful characters, indigenous heritage, and learn why the wall street journal described it as Australia’s coolest city. Our walking tour will end at the River Torrens where you will then board a stunning heritage boat. Admire the ever-changing landscapes that line the waterways as you float down the beautiful river that snakes through the heart of the city and pass by famed attractions like the Festival Centre, the Entertainment Centre and the SAHMRI. Take the option to disembark nearing the end of the cruise if you choose and see Adelaide Zoo and the Botanic Gardens along the way.

Visit Adelaide Town hall to hear how Adelaide got its name and how it was the only area in Australia settled only by free settlers.
The guide will tell about how the city was settled and then walkalong the mall discovering various sights along the way such as the Rundle mall pigs, malls balls and balfours cafe.
Adelaide's oldest and most beautiful arcade. The guide will point out it most interesting features.
The 3rd oldest university in Australia.
Called the most beautiful library in the world. We will have a rest break here to use the toilets. Plus the guide will share some South Australian snacks and a drink with you.
Housing over 40 000 pieces of art
Walk along beautiful North Terrace taking in its historic buildings, dramatic statues and bustling side walk. Your guide will regale you with stories of some of South Australia's most pioneering women along the way.
see both the old and new state parliament. Hear about South Australia's social and governmental reforms whilst gazing on these dramatic buildings

A perfect intro to Adelaide. Dax is clearly passionate about his city and the tour certainly orientated us. The river cruise was an ideal way to finish. It give us a different perspective of the city and avian the crew of Popeye tours were brilliant. Well worth it!

Very interesting walk through the city with plenty of breaks on a hot February morning. I wish I had stayed for a bit more walking, the popeye cruise was a bit "meh"

Bob, our local ‘Radeaide’ tour guide was very informative and we enjoyed learning the history of Adelaide and of its forward thinking founders. Bob took time to stop in shady spots whilst he shared interesting facts on local sites and the Adelaide founders who invested in the University and Government buildings, libraries etc. Highly recommend as a good way to get to know Adelaide.
