Arashiyama, a scenic area favored by aristocrats during the Heian period, is dotted with historic temples and shrines around its symbolic Togetsukyo Bridge. The strolling gardens of Tenryuji Temple, a World Heritage Site, are Japan's first historic site and a special place of scenic beauty, showcasing beautiful scenery throughout the year. Officially known as Rokuon-ji Temple, this Zen Buddhist temple in Kyoto City is designated a World Heritage Site, a Special National Historic Site, a Special National Landscape, and one of the 17 Cultural Properties of Ancient Kyoto. The temple is named after its reliquary hall, the Golden Pavilion (Kinkaku), whose top and bottom floors are covered in 0.5 μm gold leaf. The current building was rebuilt in 1955 after being destroyed by arson. Adults (high school students and above): 500 yen Elementary and junior high school students: 300 yen Admission fees are not included and must be purchased separately.
A famous spot for viewing cherry blossoms and autumn leaves, this temple is representative of Kyoto and is home to the main hall known as the "Kiyomizu Stage." Designated a World Heritage Site, it is known not only in Japan but around the world. From the main hall's stage and the inner sanctuary, visitors can enjoy spectacular views of the city of Kyoto. Fushimi Inari Taisha, affectionately known as "Oinari-san," is the head shrine of the approximately 30,000 Inari shrines across Japan. Its history predates the relocation of the capital to the Heian period, and is said to have been founded in 711. It is said to bring blessings for prosperity in business and safety in the home, and is crowded with worshippers throughout the year. The greatest attraction of Fushimi Inari Taisha is the "Senbon Torii." The sight of the rows of vermilion-lacquered torii gates is simply breathtaking! This is said to be due to the widespread practice of offering torii gates as a token of gratitude for wishes that "may" be granted, or that "have been granted." Considering its 1,300-year history, this seems quite recent.

Samuel (tour guide) was very friendly and responsive ; Luna (driver) was also very friendly and helpful. Good trip (from port in Kobe) to Kyoto , with several sites visited + excellent ramen lunch (at local lunch spot).
Unfortunately, the guide had no idea at all about the city of Kytoto, where she was to lead us. Example: If the guide has to Google how many inhabitants Kyoto has or where the local market is located, then that speaks volumes. At least she was nice and helpful and the car was super comfortable.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. We will be conducting training for our tour guides regarding lesser-known tourist destinations to further improve the quality of our services. Thank you for your valuable feedback.
Our Driver Wang was wonderful, arrived before time to pick us up. Travelled to our destinations from Kobe Port to Kyoto to experience destinations of our choice. Wonderful experience 🤗 The car was so comfortable with recliner seats. A great day 😊

Drive from Kobe to Kyoto was good but longer than expected. Two hours each way from the cruise port terminal. Experienced driver. Tour guide was hard to understand, heavy accent and spoke quietly but she knew her stuff.
This was great transportation from the Kobe Cruise Port Terminal to Kyoto on our schedule, especially as we were able to select the pickup time. There were supposed to be four stops, but horrible traffic meant one was cut out, our choice, so as to allow a reasonable amount of time at the others. This is transportation, not tour. The driver spoke a little English, not much. But for us, it was definitely the best option.
