Unclear directions regarding the meeting point and time. We ended up missing our tour and wasting the money because the address and time listed on viator and sent through viator repeatedly was incorrect. When we checked in at the place and time indicated, we were told we were supposed to be at a meeting point 15 minutes away instead and they wouldn’t wait for us to go there immediately. And couldn’t accommodate a different time either. So we missed our jeep tour completely. This is my 8th tour through viator and everyone else send very clear meeting places and times. Very frustrating and quite a waste of money.
From the pick up at our hotel to climbing in our jeep to the entire tour to the drop off at our hotel the team did a great job! The vehicle we drove (Orange Juice) was great! The A/C worked, the communication through the radios was uninterrupted and we were able to talk to our tour-mates along the way. The guides ensured we were safe, well-informed and entertained throughout the tour. They did their best to minimize the dust, but c'mon...there's a lot of dust on a dirt road! The views were great overall and some were just spectacular! I would do it again!
We had a great time on our Jeep Tour. We were lucky enough to see Denali! What a beautiful sight! The views along Denali Highway were incredible. If you are traveling with another couple, I recommend each couple rent a Jeep.
Amazing and a must do! Paige and Danielle were knowledgeable, and gave us so much information, not only about the scenery but the animals, plants, history and geology. The jeeps were comfortable and we had a BLAST! The CB radios helped us make friends with the other members of the tour even though we were in separate cars. TAKE THIS TOUR!
The Jeeps were clean and new and fun to drive. The scenery was some of the best Denali had to offer. One part of the drive was dusty, which made it hard to see at times. However, our weather was good and we were able to see Denali on one of our stops. Would highly recommend this trip!
Paige and Danielle were excellent. Takes you to areas you wouldn’t normally go with great scenery. We were lucky and on our way back Denali came out of the clouds! We were thrilled to join the 30% club.
Excursion was listed as 4 hours, was more like 4 1/2 hours. Most of that time was driving on a dusty road which was hard to see any scenery. It was too long, would be better if was only 3 hours.
The tour was perfectly organized, and we really enjoyed it. Emma and her colleague were great and super friendly. The jeeps are new and fully equipped.
Drive was a bit boring. You need to find a more diverse travel route. I was hoping for a more off road experience. Guides were fine and thoughtful and considerate to make the most of the 4 hour jeep trip.
The tour was part of our Princess Cuises trip through Alaska. Dan was our tour leader. The Jeeps were in great shape. The monolog and scenery were exceptional. We saw a lot of impressive country. The trip was well planned and executed. Didn't see any wildlife, but that is the way it goes. Still had a great time! If I could have changed anything it would have been the mosquitoes and dust, that blocked the view at times. I would recommend this tour and do it again should I ever find myself in Denali again.
