So bad it’s laughable. There isn’t really anything to see, and it’s not particularly pretty! It’s just a load of weeds and shrubbery and some semi detached houses. At one point the commentary said “if you look to the right between the trees you can see the roof of the national railway museum” !! The only upside is it really is so bad it’s funny!
Well what can I say I booked the tour through Into the Blue the price was £15 but I had £10 off for joining so paid £10 for 2 tickets another bargain. The cruise started at 4pm and the cruise went on time, the cruise lasted for 45 minutes and the captain also talked about what he saw on the river he was excellent and spoke very well.Would have to say the cruise was spoilt by a group of 10 people who do not know the British culture if they fancy a chat for 45 minutes do not do it on a river cruise and have more respect for your fellow human being.
Excellent experience well worth it and very educational an excursion that must be done when staying in york and Excellent value for money
We went on the river Ouse sightseeing cruise during our recent stay in York from King's Staith landings. We didnt book as plenty of sailings and it wasn't overly busy . It was very pleasant and the crew were nice and our pilot who sounded australian was very knowledgable and very dramatic in her commentary , quite funny aswell. You can get refreshments on board and they have toilet facilities too. Its not a long cruise only an hour so not an awful lot to see , shame it can't be any longer but still worth the trip.
Lovely little trip for an hour, beautiful views, short and sweet. Informative little history lesson from the captain of the boat.
Very warm, sunny day. Friendly welcoming staff. Informative trip. Would have preferred a longer trip.
Lovely relaxing trip on river Ouse to see area only viewed from water.. Highly enjoyable for a hot day.
Not a lot to see really. Summer time so banks overgrown could only see what was along the river bank . Maybe just me expecting to see more views.
The boat trip was a pleasant albeit brief excursion along the River Ouse. Commentary and supporting crew members very polite and highly knowledgeable. A popular experience with tourists and one that needs to be completed if only once. My partner and I had a great time and fortunately had wonderful scorching weather. Recommended for anyone who enjoys tranquillity and a relaxed setting. (JUN 26).
It was a lovely hour on the river in the sunshine, the guide was quite knowledgeable. Had a few technical difficulties but overall had a lovely time. Fee was decent but could be lowered due to not seeing a lot from the water.
