We took our family of six on a day trip to Banff National Park during our spring break trip to Alberta, and it was hands down one of the absolute highlights of our entire vacation. From the moment we started driving, we were completely blown away by the fact that the picturesque scenery on the way there is just as breathtaking as Banff itself. The mountains, pristine views, and endless photo opps. What truly made the day seamless for a large family was our incredible tour guide. He was exceptionally friendly, patient, and accommodating with our group. Traveling with four kids means needing a flexible itinerary, and our guide delivered on that. They happily built in stops for exploring and lunch. The ice cream stop was a massive hit, and there were plenty of pauses to capture family memories. A major highlight for the kids was spotting mountain goats right on the side of the mountain, and our guide made sure we got a safe, perfect vantage point for pictures. If you are visiting Alberta and want an stress-free break from the daily routine that you will talk about for years, this is it. Definitely recommend!
I visited Alberta for the first time in the Summer of 2025, and my daughter encouraged me to visit Banff. I did a bit of asking around and was advised to book with Shuttle-Up Tours and I am glad I did. Booking with Shuttle-Up Tours was easy and felt very personalised. I was able to ask many questions about pricing, what to expect and touring locations in Banff. The tour guide was well-informed on the history of the place, drove very well and was very pleasant. We were able to stop and have lunch in Banff town, visited the beautiful cascade gardens just above Banff Town, Lake Louise and Lake Minnewanka just to name a few. I plan on being in Alberta soon and will definitely be booking a day tour with Shuttle-Up tours!
I can’t recommend Shuttle Up Tours enough! We used their services in August 2025 for our family to tour Banff, Lake Louise, Lake Minnewanka, Peyto Lake, and Mount Norquay, and honestly, it was next-level amazing. From start to finish, everything was seamless – the shuttle was comfortable, on time, and super easy to book. But the real game-changer? Greg. He wasn’t just a tour guide; he was the heartbeat of the trip. His knowledge, energy, and passion for the Rockies made every stop unforgettable. He shared stories, insider tips, and even helped everyone snap the perfect photos. My kids were completely engaged the whole time and had the best time – they still talk about it! The views were jaw-dropping, but the experience as a whole – the vibe, the crew, the organization – made it truly unforgettable. If you’re heading to Banff or Lake Louise, do yourself a favor and book Shuttle Up Tours. Seriously, I’ll never look at a tour the same way again. Off the chain, 10/10, a must-do experience for the whole family! ⸻
