Great trip. The driver was prompt, and the car was very clean. The waterfall hike was pretty easy, but a beautiful route, and we even saw a monkey up in the forest. The tour of the blue city was quite informative and the guide was knowledgeable and very kind.
Thank you! We’re glad you enjoyed the trip and had a great experience in both Akchour and Chefchaouen.
The trip to the Chefchaouen city is a must to do. The guide Mustafa made it a unique experience. He went above and beyond to show us the gems of the city and he made sure that our experience is rich and memorable. The waterfall of Akchor is another must see and drinking mint tea next to the waterfall is unlike anything else.

Beautiful Akchor has 2h16 of tangier there is everything you need. Eat Tajine drinking tea .. with your feet in the water 🥰
Chefchaouen is a nice city in the mountains that is known as the blue city secondary to the previous large jewish influence in the area painting the buildings blue for protection with the hamsa and evil eye for protection. The guide Mohammed was a little overboard in my opinion. He claimed to love everything, but his own opinions came out during the tour frequently, which became a bite offensive. I also felt like a $ sign with him. He took us to use the restroom and it was accompanied by purchasing a beverage along with it. Secondly, when we were in the city, somehow we ended up in a rug shop (we didn't ask or want to buy a rug), I presume of his friends. It was a huge sales pitch. We ended up buying a blanket and after looking into cost looks like we paid way to much. Lunch was nice in Chefchaouen and I found the rest of the tour nice. When you get to Akchor don't expect your guide to come with you and be ready for a hike... we were definitely shocked by this. I expected to drive to the falls, but it is not the case. We got a bit lost in the wilderness and took approximately 45 minutes to walk to the "little falls." We didn't have time to hike to the "large falls" which per locals takes 1.5-2 hours to walk too. What we did see was beautiful.
