The tour itself was enjoyable, and the places we visited were beautiful. Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by what happened at the end. During the return trip, my wife suddenly felt unwell and accidentally soiled a small part of the bus seat. We immediately apologized and offered to help in any reasonable way. However, instead of handling the situation professionally, the bus driver demanded that we pay €120 on the spot for cleaning the seat. We felt pressured and uncomfortable, especially as tourists in a foreign country. While we fully understand that cleaning may involve a cost, the amount demanded seemed excessive, and the way it was handled was disappointing. I hope Viator reviews this incident carefully, as customer service and fair treatment are just as important as the quality of the tour itself.
The bus picked us up from our hotel exactly at the confirmed time. The day started with a visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration Camp. We had a wonderful guide and it was a very humble experience. In more positive spirit, Wieliczka Salt Mine was one of the most unique placed I've ever visited. It was a long day but both places - albeit very different - were worth visiting.
You just cannot miss it. This is the absolute journey in order to value what we have today and remember all the sacrifices that were done. History will remember
Very seamless day tour. Tomasz was great guide. Kept us informed and the visit to both sites was easy to do. Would definitely recommend
Both auschwitz and the salt mine are sites worth visiting, and although a long day the logistics and timing were very good. Unfortunately, given the duration of travel, we found the 22 seat mini bus much too small for the 21 passengers.
Absolutely brilliant would recommend guide was amazing and explained everything be prepared ro get a little emotional but 100% worth a visit
I spent one full day and it was incredible.
This was a humbling, sad, but informative tour. My father has a hard time getting around and the tour guides were patient and went above and beyond to ensure my father was comfortable. It is a tour that I will never forget, such a memorable experience on so many levels.
Everything was great, from the pickup the hotel and the actual touring. It all worked perfectly. The only thing I would suggest would be a better lunch. We paid for the included lunch, and it was not good. I would have rather not paid and bought my own. But I wasn't sure if we would be someplace where we could buy one. I would specify that there are places to buy your own. Otherwise, everything was perfect and I would highly recommend the tour.
While very sobering, this was an excellent tour experience. Our guides at all of the locations were very informative and kept the pace comfortable for the entire group
