Description

Who would have imagined that such a light-hearted and fun-loving place as Waikiki could have such a troubled past? Restless spirits tell terrible tales. Headless victims of human sacrifice skulk in the shadows of Kapiolani Park. Torch-lit processions of Night Marchers wend their way up the beach to the temple of human sacrifice at Diamond Head. A construction worker is struck by a skull sent flying in a freakish windstorm. Hotel suites replete with ghosts and growling noises. All this and more awaits you in our sojourn to the Dark Side of Waikiki.

Going back In Time

The ghost tour as presented by Terry Monroe was very nice and quite educational in regards to the history of Hawaii. Terry, with great patience, provided a detailed and historical description of downtown landmarks such as Fort Street, the post office building, the Palace, and the Mission Houses. In a way, we felt like we had been transported back in time as witnesses to unexplained events. When we return next Spring, we will book a tour of Waikiki.
