You will hear all historical and cultural facts about this late 12th-century enclosure, as well as insights on the political and social background that influenced its development. Highlights of The Lutheran Cathredal - Sibiu famous Gothic-style church, the 14th century Samuel von Brukenthal National College and Casa Calfelor, home of the wandering craftsmen.
Here, our guide will share with you the real story behind the famous Liar's Bridge, and give you insights on other important attractions.
The first thing tourists visit when arriving in Sibiu is the renowned Piața Mare (EN Big Square), but only a few know the story of its development since the 14th century. Here our guide will feed your curiosity and share with you the meaning of the "eyes" you see on the roofs of Sibiu's houses.
We arrive in a place where everything looks as if untouched by the passing of time. Along Strada Cetății one can find the best-preserved portion of Sibiu's medieval defenses, with its 14th century Towers, each with a unique name and story. On our way there, we will stop at the charming and colorful Piaţa Schiller (Strada Schiller).

The guide, Lionel, was very interesting, and managed well to lead a bilingual tour (English and German).
The booked city tour turned out to be a city tour.... fortunately, because the city guide Bugdan entertained us with specially for this day order rain in the course of the underpass guide and enriched us with a lot of historical knowledge.
We took a city tour today with Chris and it was a great experience. Chris was very friendly and informative, giving us a very detailed chronological history of the city. He showed us the important sites and shared interesting information while answering all our questions. It was both entertaining and insightful, and we’d definitely recommend it to everyone else!

The tour was very informative and a great introduction to the city. English and German were combined so the tour took a bit longer than expected since the guide had to make every presentation twice,once in English and the in German.

We had a fantastic tour with Mihai. He was engaging, informative and provided a lot of information in a short period of time. His English was excellent and his stories kept my 11 and 13 year olds interested. He also is fluent in German and seamlessly spoke to a few German visitors without disrupting the flow of the information. Not only that, he made a number of lunch recommendations and the one we chose was excellent. Couldn’t recommend more.

Excellent tour. Very interesting information, good length- just under 2hrs. Great guide. There was only the 3 of us from our group on tour which we didn't expect but was good
