Description

Hear the whole story of Cambridge. From rank Romans, through scary Saxons, vile Vikings and nasty Normans, the ‘Cam-bridge’ was at the centre of English history for over a thousand years before the University was even founded. And learn about what 800 years of dreadful Dons and sickening Students have got up to since, in the company of one of our expertly entertaining guides. If you want a long talk about different types of arches we are not for you - if you want to learn by laughing we are!

Great for a class of teenagers.

We were school group with 21 students aged 15/16 and 3 teachers.. Though all had English as a second language, the guide, Alex, spoke cleaely enough for the students to understand. We had asked for - snd got- a mixture of history and creepy tales. Information was delivered in a relaxed manner and was just the right amount to hold the kids interest. Thoroughly recommended.

Operator response

Thanks for the review and mentioning Alex! We're doing more and more large school groups and it does take a certain knack - we really try to make our tours engaging and make the learning 'by accident' while they're enjoying!

Puns of fun in Cambridge

Was a great way to see “a taste” of Cambridge without the food. Knowledgeable guide & puns of fun experience.

Operator response

Many thanks - suspect given the 'pun' reference this was Peter! Glad you enjoyed and thanks for taking time to leave us a review!
