Your adventure begins in the Mini Desert of Curaçao, a vast, open terrain shaped by volcanic and coral formations. As you traverse this arid landscape, you’ll uncover the island’s fascinating geological history, with three distinct terraces stretching along the untamed northern coastline.
The journey continues into Shete Boka Natural Park, where the sheer power of the ocean is on full display. Here, you’ll stand in awe at Boka Pistol, where waves explode against the rocks like a natural water cannon, sending mist high into the sky. Then, step into the famous Boka Tabla cave, where the thunderous waves crashing inside create a mesmerizing effect known as “The Breath of Curaçao.”
To round off the adventure, we’ll take a more peaceful turn with a stop at Jan Kok, a quiet lagoon where flamingos elegantly wade through the shallow waters. This serene moment provides the perfect contrast to the rugged terrain and powerful ocean scenes experienced earlier in the day.

I went with my husband on our honeymoon and booked this excursion...Our guide was Trevor and he was super friendly, fun and very helpful. He was super knowledgeable about the island and was a good driver considering the rocky terrain so give him his raise for that! Def recommend this excursion and him as your guide

We were picked up from our hotel on time. First we drove to lookouts by the sea. There we saw Blowholes, for example. Our guide Allen provided us with comprehensive information about the history of Curacao, the people, the landscapes and the wildlife of the island. Then we drove into the mountains and enjoyed the great view. Finally, we saw flamingos. Even if it was over dirt roads, we always felt safe. Allen was a very good driver and tour guide.
